Lots of long, drivelling sentences that really needed editing. I noticed this as I used to get pulled up for doing the same thing in English at school - however I’m not a writer or an editor! Pretty Guilty Women by Gina LaManna was such a fun book to read, and even though I had a big part of the ending figured out before it happened, I still highly recommend reading this joy of a book!
Ginger is an overworked, mother of three who's barely holding the family together when she learns a secret about her daughter that could ruin everything. Proudest moments for me are always receiving letters from readers telling me how much they love the books, they are always better than any newspaper review because at the end of the day it’s the readers that I care about, the literary industry can be very snobbish about commercial fiction but I want to write books that everybody can enjoy, I don’t want to be niche, I want to be mainstream and write escapist stories that will be popular for people wanting to escape the miserable world that we find ourselves in nowadays. It’s difficult to say too much without spoiling it, but what I will say is 1, I hope there is another book and 2, it definitely feels like the bad guys won the day. Although it’s actually ludicrous to say, because the bad guys are actually the good guys, it’s just we don’t like them! The gathering includes Kate, who is fashion model beautiful, wealthy and does not have a care in the world, but unbeknownst to her friends is in the middle of a horrific mid-life crisis.
