At least you could if reliably controlling the Corsair iCue H115i Elite Capellix was a given. In our experience and with the current software and firmware, that’s not quite the case. Initial installation and setup with Corsair’s iCue software went smoothly and the interface offers more RGB configuration options than you could humanly desire. ZERO RPM MODE– Zero RPM cooling profiles in CORSAIR iCUE software allow fans to stop entirely at low temperatures, eliminating fan noise If repairing iCUE does not resolve your issue, the next step is to see if your Elite Capellix is receiving power. If the fans are spinning, the pumps are running, and the LEDs are lit up, your Elite Capellix is receiving power.
If you want to see diagrams or more detailed installation instructions, consult your cooler product manual. If you cannot find your product manual, you can use this manual for the H100i Platinum. ML might make a slight difference (1-2C), but not really worth fussing over unless you are at a specific temp limit. The delta for gaming (39 to 50C) is basically at the +10C I generally quote as expected. It's the 39C baseline that is higher. The cooling configs include quiet, balanced, extreme or zero RPM modes, while the cooling and RGB functionality come together neatly via emergency triggers that can be set to not only ramp-up fan speed but also indicate an issue with an LED colour change when temps blow past a user-defined limit. Nice.

Temperature wise there's no issues at all ( CPU under 70 degrees even when gaming) but I wonder if it's normal or is there some issue with the pump? Or perhaps the 5900x just runs hot and this is a sign that the coolant is doing its job? While in the past a CPU hitting its peak temperature was cause for concern, enthusiasts are going to have to learn to accept high temperatures as “normal” while running demanding workloads with Raptor Lake and Ryzen 7000 CPUs. Modern AMD and Intel CPUs are designed to run fairly hot without any problems – up to 95 degrees Celsius for AMD Ryzen 7000 CPUs, and up to 100 C for Intel’s Core i9-13900K. Similar behavior has been standard in laptops for years due to cooling limitations in tight spaces. How does this compare your internal case or room temps? Most people will idle about 4-7C above the room temp, but this is very case and power level specific. Someone with a TR on High Performance in a glass box is going to be quite high, while an old Sandy Bridge that drops to 0.60v and stays there will be quite low. This seems to be where you are losing ground. HIGH-PERFORMANCE RGB PUMP HEAD– The ELITE CAPELLIX cooler pump head houses 33 ultra-bright CAPELLIX RGB LEDs to go along with its RGB fans. When you add powerful, low-noise cooling to the mix, your system will look great and will run even better The increased cooling challenges posed by Raptor Lake mean that we’ve had to change some of the ways we test coolers. Some coolers were able to pass Cinebench R23 multicore testing with Intel’s 12th Gen i9-12900K when power limits were removed (although only the strongest models were able to pass that test). Most liquid coolers and all air coolers I’ve tested “failed” that test because the CPU reached TJ max in this scenario. Install the thumbscrews provided with your cooler onto the standoffs, and then tighten to secure the pump head onto the CPU. Setting a fan curve in CAM that mirrors iCUE's Balanced preset, my liquid temps now sit at 29 C idle and get up to 35 C max under load after an extended Cyberpunk session. This is much more in line with what I expected. CPU temps have also gone down about 10 C across the board, now idling in the low 30s and 40s while barely going over 70 under load (mostly stayed in the 60s while gaming). 50% fan speed will peg the liquid at 35 C, though if I opt for something more silent like 30% fan speed, the liquid still only reaches about 38 C under load.
