About this deal

What I love about this example is how an initially complicated formula "collapses" into a simple solution. A must-read queer love story for fans of Sarah Crossan and Sex Education, written in verse by Dean Atta. With a date in A1, you can enter the formula in A2 and drag down to get your list of weekend dates.

So if you want to fill a column with dates that occur only on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, you can modify the third argument in the formula as shown below: =WORKDAY.INTL(A2,1,"0101011")Every part of the book that is set in my home city of Glasgow. How the city is represented is so lovely to see, it was like a fab tourist trail of a place, bursting with culture and diversity that I think is often overlooked. Atta's writing style was a wonderfully unique reading experience, so poetic and I loved the varying formats. The way this book represents race, gender and sexual identity is so accessible and important for young readers. This formula works fine, but it's overly complicated. As a smart reader pointed out recently, you can do the same thing with the WORKDAY.INTL function and a much simpler formula: =WORKDAY.INTL(A1,1,"1111100")

I am eagerly looking forward to returning this book to the library. Here's a little puzzle for you...how can you use Excel to generate a list of dates that are weekends only? For example, a list of Saturday Sunday pairs like this:
