About this deal

Unlike paper and other low-quality materials used for the cone, SA-CS9 cone is made of a very stiff Mica Reinforced Cellular (MRC) fiber woofer and 9.84 inches in size that is able to keep the cone in shape even at high pressure without any distorting the sound quality. This MRC material can absorb waves from high pressured sounds and can also minimize vibration. Polk Audio is leading in the audio spheres and has emerged as a strong competitor over the years, offering great service and excellent sound quality at a valuable price. Most of their products are reasonably valued, and PSW10 is one of them. What’s In The Box It is perfect for smaller rooms like apartments where the listener wants to enjoy precise detail but not lose anything outside of those walls due to size limitations imposed upon them by their living space.

If you need an overall opinion about the design, I would gladly say that it owns an amazing design, when it comes to fitting in on any room and looking good, can be easily moved around based on its size and weight, and most importantly it has a strong built making it durable and usable for many years! Controls on the other hand tell nothing but that it is super easy to be used. Driver, Sound Quality, and Features

Throw Your Computer In The Ocean.

If you’re an audiophile you probably won’t want this sub. If you’re an average person who wants to fill in the base where your bookshelf speakers or sound bar just can’t reach, consider this Polk Audio PSW10 sub. Includes a crossover frequency selection, volume control, automatic on/off based on signal input, manual on/off, and two types of inputs. For the price it’s the best I’ve seen or heard. I use mine on the stereo in my garage and it’s perfect for me.

Multiple inputs and controls: The PSW108 is easy to integrate into any home theater system thanks to its numerous outputs and speaker/line-level inputs. You can use these inputs to hook up your receiver to the sub for the best performance possible. It also offers multiple controls that let you tune your subwoofer for more accurate bass response.

Features

The most labor-intensive part of the setup was disconnecting the bookshelf speakers from the receiver, re-routing those to the subwoofer, then wiring the subwoofer to the receiver. That involved a lot of crawling around under and behind my desk. If you aren’t sure which model to go with, you can begin by evaluating your sound expectations and how long you plan to keep the subwoofer.

If yearning for a booming bass for a tight space, you may want to consider the Polk Audio PSW10. This super-compact 10″ subwoofer delivers big bass, yet it can fit much smaller enclosures. It delivers a whopping 100W max, so you drive it to the extreme without worrying. Besides, you can customize your system to suit your audio preferences. Highlights The Polk Audio PSW10 also has a useful intelligent sensor circuit that allows the subwoofer to be turned on and off automatically. This means you don’t have to worry about turning off the subwoofer manually in the event of a power outage or unexpected shutdown. The auto on/off function protects the subwoofer from possible over voltage. Timbre-matched: Polk Audio PSW108 is timbre-matched with other Polk loudspeakers to ensure that it will perfectly blend into your existing system. You can pair this subwoofer with Polk’s Monitor and T series, among other Polk audio speakers. What we like Although all subwoofers look almost similar, the differences may be visible in their sizes, shapes, or some sort of boxes. But not all of them sound the same. Product Research

Easy connections: Polk Audio PSW10 offers multiple inputs and output, making it easy to match your sub with the rest of the components. For instance, you can connect the subwoofer to your receiver using the speaker/line-level input. It also offers two RCA line inputs and a volume control knob to let you adjust the sub’s volume independently.

Same signal ends up going to both the speakers and the sub. If you want to dial this in reasonably well, go play bass sweeps from 20-200Hz on just the bookshelf speakers and then figure out where the sound pressure drops off (decibel-x or similar phone apps can help quantify this). That gives you a rough feel for where to set the variable crossover on the subwoofer. Hook up the sub, repeat the bass sweep. such that the overall loudness level - aka the gain on the subwoofer- (except near the crossover region) is similar on the subwoofer and the speakers at the listening position. Then play with the crossover up or down a little until the dB level is about as level as it'll get. No matter which subwoofer you buy, if you do not place it properly with the right “strategy”, it will distort merely by the fact that the sound will bounce against the walls. The one technical issue I ran into during the setup was vibration. The Polk subwoofer has feet, but when positioned on the hardwood floor of my office they still transmitted vibration. Objects on my desk would rattle when the music was loud. Polk’s PSW series employ superior materials and technology to provide you with a punchy bass that you can hear and feel. So, today we’re going to have a head-to-head match between Polk Audio PSW10 vs PSW108.Enhance your movie-watching experience and add depth to music listening with the Polk Audio PSW10. Sound effects are more remarkable. Bass sounds solid thanks 100-watt RMS amp equipped in this system.
