Of course you’re right.”I was ecstatic about the fact that I would see Warner, Juliette, and Kenji after so long but believe me when I say that this book in no way portrays even a relatively easy life for these characters. I definitely feel like this book has a darker feel to it compared to any of the 3 previous books. In the first 3 books, we see Juliette struggle with her powers and she is relatively new to the uprising but now that she has control over her powers it was interesting to see if her character arcs in the book.

She feels like every dream I’ve ever had, every wish I’ve ever made, every oath I’ve ever sworn to keep all rolled up into one perfect being.” i don’t even know what to say about this book but it was heart wrenching, emotional, romantic, sweet, and so spicy.Also idk if I’m the only one but the pre Restore Me Dom and Sloane crumbs we got in this book had me feeling like I was in on a dirty little secret which means I must immediately go reread Restore Me because I am their biggest fan 🫶🏾
