Now I'm going to Mommy & Me classes, One Direction concerts, the emergency room, and arguing cases in the principal's office. Sustained is the second novel in The Legal Briefs series, and standalone follow up to its brilliant predecessor; Overruled.

This has been such a feel good, hysterical, romantic, all around awesome series. And for those who haven’t read about Chelsea and Jake yet (their book, Sustained, can also be read as a standalone) their life can be compared to Cheaper By The Dozen – but with a really hot dad (Jake) who you want to bang and a sweet amazing mom/aunt (Chelsea) you would want as your BFF. i was waiting for a good grovel but Chelsea just kept on forgiving him so easily all the time so ugh. i guess i just want more grovelling scenes, for me, specifically. and if anyone knows me, y'all know im spoiled when it comes to grovelling scenes.

Jake and Chelsea have been married for two years now. They have a routine that best suites their family, but with six kids getting alone time can be challenging, so when they do find that time they make the best of it. Chelsea likes having Jake around. I completely understand Chelsea. Her world is now the kids and when she gets some attention from another adult, she is appreciative of it. As much as Jake loves the kids, he’s not sure if he’s a family kind of man. Jake has a bunch of Daddy issues and it makes me love him even more. And my whispered words slice the stillness of the moment. “All of this only works if you’re here. It begins with you, it ends . . .” So Jake and Chelsea, you know the ones I am talking about. The young sister who became the legal guardian to her six siblings and the awesome guy who fell in love with them all. Awwww, I swear, I just love it!Prosecutor: The visual was not necessary. Tell me, why did you choose to spend the evening this way?
