These aren’t subtle buds in their approach but that’s not the direction they’re going in – these earbuds have a rich, warm and inviting presentation with clear (if slightly rolled off) highs, likeable levels of detail, clear vocals and a soundstage that’s wide enough to not feel as if voices and instruments are bunched together. Audio sync with video is neglibly ok, though I do notice slight almost unnoticeable lag. True wireless earbuds really struggle at times to match the latency of wired earbuds. Call Quality I won’t call them the best for sound output, but they are certainly way above other competitors in this price range. Plus, they also boast a pretty decent on-call experience with zero wind noise. UGREEN HiTune T2 employs a 60ms ultra-low latency to keep this issue at bay. A quadruple-tap on the earbuds takes you into the Gaming Mode, wherein you get expertly tuned bass, vocal, and treble performance.
The unique design of the HiTune X6’s shorter stems are optimized for stability. The 30-degree in-ear angle ensures a snug fit that matches the natural contours of the ear. Redmi AirDots S– AirDots bass is more prominent but less full as the upper bass is slightly thinner. The treble more brittle, so you get a more V-shaped tuning. It supports only SBC. HiTune is less fatiguing, bass is more extended, less pushy.

Apart from this omission, the controls that are there work so easy and well. At no point in the review did I need to apply pressure or get frustrated with the UGREEN HiTune TWS Earbuds. The touch sensitivity is very well tuned. The HiTune design is simple and functional, while the case is compact and lightweight using good quality plastic material. The earbuds can last 9 hours per charge and with the charging case you get up to 27 hours total. Throughout my review period, I have not charged once, so it seems the charge retention is quite good. Charging with USB-C cable for 15 minutes extends usage by 2 hours. They are also IPX5 water rated. As UGREEN does not specialise in audio products, I am surprised that the HiTune audio tuning has good balance. It goes to show that earbuds have commoditized so much that it’s actually not difficult for manufacturers to build good quality products at a low price. The overall build quality is better than Redmi AirDots S and the battery life is also way longer too. I find the ear tips fit better on the HiTune as well, given the tip shape is more conical while AirDots S is more spherical. UGREEN HiTune compares with Redmi AirDots SIn reality, this doesn’t perform as well as more expensive models, but it works very well in the HiTune buds. Build Quality Seeing as these wireless Bluetooth earbuds are so cost-effective, it makes sense why UGREEN decided to forgo the inclusion of a companion app. Sadly, this means that there's no equalizer to play around with, and you can't customize the touch controls either. Not being able to change the touch controls is a bummer because you can't change the volume level with the T3 earbuds' touch interface. Previous cheap true wireless with ANC have taught us to be a little weary of the end result, but the HiTune T3 has us taking a different viewpoint – and a positive one at that. Design To say that the HiTune T3 looks like any other true wireless is not of much help – but they do look much like any other true wireless, specially buds that opt for the long stem-based design. Consider a meld of Oppo’s Enco X and Free2 wireless earbuds and you virtually have the Ugreen’s appearance. The obvious positive is that bass is granted a big, emphatic presence with the frequency range, not something that’s a guarantee for cheaper true wireless as bass can often be a weakness at default volumes. That is not an issue where the Ugreen is concerned. In the T3 buds' price range, the only real competition is UGREEN's HiTune X6 ANC Earbuds. Yes, there’s still a noticeable difference in performance compared to premium buds, but often, price matters. Another big boast going into to the review was the impressive battery life UGREEN claimed the HiTune TWS Earbuds can deliver!
