About this deal

BiotinVital to the skin, hair, nerves and sex organs -- again, intestinal bacteria provide most of the 150mg a day which we need. One Berocca supplies 130mg A recent marketing campaign in Australia for Berocca Performance with the slogan "Release the inner geek" targets high school students studying for exams.

Berocca is a brand of effervescent drink and vitamin tablets containing B vitamins and vitamin C, manufactured by Bayer. Berocca was originally established in Switzerland in 1969 by Roche, and is available in a number of countries worldwide. But what’s in that nuclear orange liquid? Firstly, loads of vitamins. B group vitamins, specifically, and vitamin C plus added magnesium, calcium and zinc – which sounds like a really good thing, but actually turns out to be a bit of a placebo. ‘There are no studies to suggest that taking general vitamins like that are useful for anything, and you can get what you need from just your diet,’ says nutritionist Kirsten Crothers from The Food Treatment Clinic. The ingredients of Berocca are: Citric acid, sodium hydrogen carbonate, vitamin C, magnesium sulphate, mannitol, calcium carbonate, magnesium carbonate, flavouring, sodium carbonate, niacin, sweeteners (see below for list of sweeteners), salt, zinc citrate, colour, pantothenic acid, maltodextrin, riboflavin, thiamin, acacia gum, vitamin B6, partially hydrogenated soybean oil, sugar, trisodium citrate, antifoaming agent (polysorbate 60), Folic acid, Vitamin E, Biotin, Vitamin B12.Depending on which country Berocca is sold in, it may contain between 40mg-271mg of sodium (in Australia and New Zealand it is 271mg). It comes in three flavours – Orange, Mixed Berries and Tropical. The effervescent tablets contain 25 to 275mg d-mannitol, 20mg acesulfame potassium and 25mg aspartame, 6 mg sucrose, 13.44mg polydextrose and 94mg lactose, this is how much is used to sweeten the product.

Aside from these B vitamins, Berocca also has Guarana and caffeine which support mental sharpness. It contains calcium that helps improve memory retention. It also has zinc and magnesium which help in combating memory lapses associated with aging. Berocca Ingredients

Berocca for You

If you still want to take Berocca, you may do so. But we suggest seeking a professional’s advice first to avoid undesirable results. Latest Comments: It's worth remembering it only takes about four hours for more than 50% of surfaces to become contaminated around you in an office. Factor in gross recycled air and people not washing their hands enough, and Berocca is starting to look like a pretty attractive defence. So, let's put the 'you on a really good day' tablet to the test. What does Berocca do? Berocca ingredients and the vitamins in Berocca Sodium – This electrolyte regularizes blood pressure. It balances the water in and around your cells. Sweeteners: maltodextrin, dextrose, (both possibly wheat based but could also be derived from corn or tapioca), sucrose (sugar)

Obviously placebos don’t cure cancer, but they might just boost your immune system enough to make it appear like the Berocca is working. Or, because you’ve taken Berocca, you may be more likely to make other solid, healthy choices throughout the day, to make you feel positive and protected against germs. That's the thinking behind the whole placebo thing, anyway. Does Berocca have calories? The studies were certainly significant – one involved 6,000 participants tested over a span of 12 years. And, for anyone who isn’t convinced by this, one of the other authors, Jacqueline O'Brien, a research associate at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, added: ‘No matter which way we broke it down, there was a null effect.’ In October 2020, a Vietnamese ad campaign encouraged consumers to "Get Supercharged at 2 PM" by using Berocca in the early afternoon. This campaign saw a boost in online sales by 233 percent. The binders and fillers make the tablet hard to digest especially for people with reduced stomach acid due to antacids or dysbiosis.Other possible ingredients that have been noted come from Josh Gitalis’ blog but I couldn’t find them in the allergy list in frequently asked questions, which may mean that these ingredients are not seen as allergens but still may be in the product.
