The illustrations are very bland without color and all of a sudden when the flower comes into play there is color and the flower is the only thing that remains color. The main character also becomes happier when seeing the flower. So I also think the flower represent happiness. I think that children can relate and catch these themes because of the color scheme.

How to Make It
