About this deal

Lashes look long and lifted; Benefit did an instrumental test on 21 women and the results were that lashes looked 40% longer! The proof is in the picture too, scroll to the team review section for my own before and after to see the effect for yourself. Magnetic lashes can typically be applied one of two ways; with a magnetic eyeliner or by sandwiching your real lashes in between two strips of magnetic lashes. Both methods use magnetization to adhere the lashes and are way less messy than using typical lash glue, not to mention more gentle on the eyelid. The eyeliner method is definitely easier to master, but if you don’t like the look of eyeliner you may want to try the second method. It really comes down to personal preference and how much patience you have. If you like a more natural-looking fake lash, you’ll appreciate this choice. (Although you will have to buy the magnetic liner separately.)

Great for anyone who has larger eyes, these lashes make an impact but still feel undetectable and look natural.

Wave goodbye to finicky false lashes with the best magnetic lashes for making your eyes look magnificent

We have BIG beauty news; Benefit, the UK’s number 1 premium mascara brand has a new launch! The best-selling they’re Real! range, known for its ‘lashes beyond belief’ formulas, is welcoming a new product to its line-up, and it’s unlike anything we’ve seen before! Drumroll please (and a sharp intake of breath) for the Benefit They’re Real Magnet Extreme Lengthening & Powerful Lifting Mascara. They’re Real! Magnet is a 36-hour lengthening* mascara with a magnetic force that draws out lashes to EXTREME LENGTHS, making them look 40% longer**. The innovative Extender Brush with magnetically charged core pulls the Magnetic Mineral Enriched Formula up & OUT BEYOND the tips of lashes for extreme length & powerful lift. One coat later and I was pretty impressed. If I was going out of the house I would definitely go in with another coat or two, as the mascara definitely focuses on length over volume (thanks to the magnetic fibres which cling to the ends of your lashes as you pull the wand away).By the evening, there was a slight transfer on my eyelids, which I usually expect as my skin can be quite oily. However, the staying power was proved by the removal process, requiring a little more elbow grease and good faith to remove all traces. Wiggle the brush from the root of your lashes to the tips. Allow for a few seconds of drying time, and apply another coat if desired. Tip: Swirl your brush instead of pumping it; this will limit the amount of air in the tube and improve the longevity of your product.

The nifty magnetic mineral-enriched formula is what steals the show in this mascara. The innovative ingredient works with the magnetically charged brush core to lengthen lashes by 40% for 36 hours. The force of the magnet is subtle, so you can't feel it working — but you can see the results immediately. I usually spend loads of time trying to get my brush into every little nook and cranny of my eye, but the magnetic pull of this formula against the brush does all of that for me. So not only do my lashes look longer and fuller than normal, I can get them that way in a fraction of the time. If you have larger eyes, consider yourself blessed—you’re spared from the annoyance of cutting and shaping faux lashes. These lashes from MoxieLash are on the larger side, so if you have long eyes, these are a great option to consider. Larger strips have the potential to be more irritating since they cover more area, but that’s not the case with these lashes. We liked how comfortable they felt once they adhered to the magnetic liner; we couldn’t feel the magnets at all, even when we blinked or moved our eyes around. Though they have a cat-eye shape, they don’t look too fake and provide a touch of glam perfect for a party or special event. Just keep in mind that once they attach to the liner, they’re super strong. If you need to readjust, you may have to use a little extra effort. Using the wand, I raked the mascara through my lashes, making sure I started right at my lash line. I like to apply one coat of mascara to each eye, let it set a little bit, and then go in with a second layer. But, how do they work? Thanks to tiny magnets embedded in each strip, magnetic eyelashes adhere to your lids (with the help of a magnetic eyeliner), leaving them looking fuller, longer, and more dramatic. If used properly, magnetic lashes won’t cause damage to your natural lashes at all.yes! As you can see my from my picture, it gave me length and body. I’m wondering where all of those lashes hiding? Aim to apply your regular eyeliner prior to topping it with a magnetic one. Keep in mind that the kind of eyeliner that usually comes in a kit with magnetic eyelashes might not be the one that you're used to. I, for one, am not as good with a traditional liquid eyeliner as I am with a felt tip marker. So if I'm going for a crisp cat-eye look, I'll make sure to draw my wing first, then outline the rest of the shape and fill the rest in with the magnetic liner. That way, you can achieve a cleaner and sharper result every time. I would, but I would need to pair it with primer because I found after around 6 hours of wear it smudged on me. But this happens a lot to me with mascaras because my eyelashes touch my brow bone frequently. A bit of patience is required during application since you’ll need to apply three coats of liner (allowing each coat to dry in between) to get them to stay put – but, that done, stay put they certainly do.

When it comes to mascara, I look for something lengthening, curling and that doesn’t smudge throughout the day. Sure, a good pair of false lashes can transform your entire face. But if you're not a pro with lash glue, things can go downhill pretty fast. You could pile on coats of mascara or you can simply switch to magnetic lashes to get that same lift and fluff — without the mess, of course. AQUA (WATER), CERA ALBA (BEESWAX), PARAFFIN, POLYBUTENE, VP/EICOSENE COPOLYMER, GLYCERYL STEARATE, ACRYLATES COPOLYMER, COPERNICIA CERIFERA (CARNAUBA) WAX, STEARETH-21, PALMITIC ACID, PVP, STEARIC ACID, SILICA, PENTYLENE GLYCOL, PHENOXYETHANOL, STEARETH-2, AMINOMETHYL PROPANEDIOL, CAPRYLYL GLYCOL, PANTHENOL, HYDROXYETHYLCELLULOSE, ALUMINUM HYDROXIDE, TOCOPHERYL ACETATE, DISODIUM PHOSPHATE, SODIUM PHOSPHATE, POLYSORBATE 60. [+/-: CI 19140 (YELLOW 5, YELLOW 5 LAKE), CI 42090 (BLUE 1 LAKE), CI 77007 (ULTRAMARINES), CI 77163 (BISMUTH OXYCHLORIDE), CI 77288 (CHROMIUM OXIDE GREENS), CI 77289 (CHROMIUM HYDROXIDE GREEN), CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499 (IRON OXIDES), CI 77510 (FERRIC FERROCYANIDE, FERRIC AMMONIUM FERROCYANIDE), CI 77742 (MANGANESE VIOLET), CI 77891 (TITANIUM DIOXIDE)]. Those who prefer a more dramatic lash look should try these, although it can take a little time to get the right amount of eyeliner on.

And I haven't even mentioned the other innovative thing about this mascara: the "wiper." Do you ever pull a mascara brush from its tube and think, "Holy shit, that's way too much," so you've got to wipe half of it off? For They're Real! Magnet Mascara, Benefit made the opening of its tube slightly smaller than necessary so that it scrapes away all the excess product from the brush as it's being pulled out. Try to avoid putting your mascara on prior to applying the lashes. I found that magnetic eyeliner can often clump up and smudge my mascara if I were to apply it before the false magnetic eyelashes. Little tip: aim for waterproof mascara to avoid it moving throughout the day. Many people find the original they’re Real! Mascara hard to remove. However, it’s all about the formula you use to take it off. Benefit has a dedicated they’re Real! Remover if you’d like to stay within the range or I’d recommend a bi-phase eye makeup remover. A bi-phase formula combines two phases of oil and water mixed, which lift away stubborn, long-wear makeup without pulling or tugging. One of my favourites is La Roche-Posay Respectissime.

The one thing I really don’t get is why the call it magnetic because that’s not actually how it works. But anyway, Santhilea’s Magnetic Lash Mascara comes with two products; a mascara and a lash builder and has a simple 1-2-1 application process. First apply a coat of the Magnetic Mascara and then gently apply the lash builder, which contains lots of soft little fibers. The key is to apply the fibres evenly, concentrating on the ends. Now apply another coat of the Magnetic Mascara, smoothing and sealing the fibres using long brush strokes. Gently comb the mascara over the top rather than zig-zagging and ensure that each lash is thoroughly covered with Magnetic Mascara, to hold the fibres in place. And voila now you have long, fluttery lashes! You can repeat steps two and three as many times as you like, depending on just how long and va-va-voom you want your lashes to be. Weight: If you’re a beginner (or hate the feeling of weighed-down lashes), opt for a lash strip that has lighter, smaller lashes. Daintier lashes, like the Moxie Lash Classy Lash, won’t feel as foreign and can actually help you get used to the feeling of faux lashes. Unlike traditional falsies, magnetic lashes do not require glue for application. Instead, you line your lid with a magnetic liner, which has a similar look and feel to liquid eyeliner and attracts the magnets that line the band of each lash. They'll always ensure a secure hold of your falsies, and sometimes, they'll provide a high-pigmented eyeliner look, too. For some, a full strip can look too heavy, and smaller and/or round eyes will benefit from either individual lashes or some fluttery half lashes in the outer corners to widen and elongate. These ultra-lightweight natural fibre lashes do just that, delivering that extra bit of oomph to the outer corners. The material of magnetic lashes is an important factor to consider as it will determine how natural the falsies look as well as how durable they are. Most magnetic lashes are made out of synthetic fibers, silk, or faux mink. Silk and faux mink tend to look the most realistic, so they are a great option if you are seeking a natural look. You should also be on the lookout for lashes that are waterproof or offer resistance against wind and other elements for better hold. The lashes are easy to remove though, and the eyeliner rubbed off well with an oil-based cleanser. These ones are reusable up to 15 times. As you’ll see from our roundup below, you don’t need to spend a fortune to get an excellent pair of magnetic falsies – particularly if you only plan on whipping them out for special occasions. When I was finished applying the mascara and inspected my lashes in the mirror, I was every bit impressed. This mascara helped me achieve my goal of having lashes that pop on camera, so it's safe to say it has won me over. The lengthening effects were clearly visible, making it appear as though I glued on a pair of fluttery faux lashes. Though there were a few small clumps on my lashes post-application, that's not a dealbreaker for me. The dynamic formula allows it to provide stunning definition, volume, and length that lasted all day. And if you're wondering, it didn't flake or smudge at all. Applying these lashes comes with a small learning curve: The liner is smaller than most and hard to hold when applying. However, once the liner is conquered, applying the falsies is simple. In fact, our tester dubbed it “a breeze.” Made from high-quality, synthetic fibers, these magnetic lashes look just like a fresh set of lash extensions. With 12 magnets included on the strip, you also don’t have to worry about the band slipping and sliding out of place. We tried a sample from the Classic collection (Queen Me), and despite being the most ‘subtle’ in the range, they still offer amazing density and drama – just as salon-style infills would.
