About this deal

The monster should be laminated to its front using a thin cardboard box and a hole cut out where the mouth is. Here’s a jolly and playful baby monster that can’t wait to meet you! This monster printable depicts a small fantastic creature that may very well be a baby, judging by his small size. As for the eyes and mouth, they should stand out, so we could use yellow, bright orange, or red. If you have glitter coloring pens, that’s even better. As a stress-relieving activity for you or your child. The act of coloring is great for reducing anxiety!

Here at Twinkl, we understand that learning isn’t simply confined to the classroom. That is why these wonderful monster colouring are equally effective when used for home learning exercises. In this story, yellow refers to happiness, red is for anger and blue is linked to sadness. Do you agree with those colour choices? Why?

Looking for something different

Whether you are looking for inventive ways to provide interventional support, or simply looking for ways to keep your children occupied on a rainy day, these Twinkl original worksheets are a great way to enhance engagement. This is definitely one of the creepier-looking creatures from our monster coloring sheets, but we’re sure a brave boy or girl would still have fun coloring it. Frankenstein's monster is defined by his ghoulish appearance, which has gone on to inspire the appearance of the 'Frankenstein'. Film adaptations of the original novel from the 20th century characterized Frankenstein's monster as mean-spirited and almost zombie-like, which has gone on to become the modern cultural interpretation of Frankenstein even though it is very different from the original Frankenstein's monster. For this powerful-looking monster, you can use bright colors such as green, purple, or orange, and you can also encourage your child to think of a story about why he looks so surprised. It has fur, three horns, and a spiky tail, but it will definitely look adorable colored orange! He looks as if he’s hiding behind something, so maybe he’s playing Hide and Seek.

Next, the children should draw a person–this can be themselves if they want–and glue it to a piece of poster board turned vertically. The monster’s body should be glued to the party hat and set aside. Then, the monster’s face is glued to an empty bathroom tissue roll, positioned vertically. He could be living in a swamp or in another realm, so let’s see how we could add a fantasy touch when coloring him. You can color this monster with any colors you want. Try using bright, cheery hues like pinks, purples and blues to make it extra fun. You could give it rainbow stripes or polka-dotted fur for a whimsical look.
