About this deal

The shareholders of the Paulaner Brewery Group, the Schörghuber Group, and Heineken, have full confidence in their new CEO. I’ve never tried to use San Pellegrino and while I can imagine it’s a lot closer than using any other US orange soda (Orange Crush, Sunkist, …), it’s probably missing a bit sweetness / has a bit too much bitterness to it from what I recall. I guess I’ll have to give this a try now…

First, I should probably explain what Spezi is – a soft drink made with cola, orange soda and a little bit of orange and/or lemon juice. Let’s take the idea of the American Fanta or Orange Crush right out of your head because German orange soda (andtheir Fanta) is much more like a carbonated orange juice. It’s actually yellow, not orange. Think more along the lines of Sanpellegrino Aranciata, that refreshing, sparkling orange beverage. Slouží k identifikaci první relace nového uživatele. On my quest to find something to match incoming warm weather, I’ve been dialing into the aggressive bubbles and sharp snap of soda. Which led me to a gem named Spezi. There are also different versions, including a sugar-free one. Spezi is a widespread and popular mixed drink in Germany, both among teenagers and adults. Spezi is a mix of the beverages Cola and orange lemonade, often served with a slice of lemon. You can get Spezi anywhere in Germany – at restaurants, in supermarkets, and even on German airlines, Spezi can be your beverage of choice. In Restaurants, your drink is often mixed fresh, with Cola and Fanta, in stores and supermarkets you can buy it pre-made. Some of the brands for Spezi are Mezzo-Mix by Coca-Cola (a mix of Coca-Cola and Fanta, also available in a diet version), Krumbach Spezi (by a water company, that actually tastes ” lighter” than other brands) or Spezi by Paulaner (a brewery).

The success of the Spezi brand is based on the efforts and investments made by the Spezi license family since 1956,” a spokesperson said. “We will examine the reasoning of the court and then decide on further steps. Paulaner is of the opinion, however, that the parties concluded a demarcation agreement in 1974 and that Riegele’s termination was unjustified. Thus, Paulaner filed a lawsuit to have the original agreement declared to be valid. Riegele on the other hand is of the opinion that the parties concluded a licence agreement, or at least, that the termination was justified. Therefore, Riegele has filed a counterclaim predominantly seeking a cessation of the use of the sign “Spezi”.

Thus, the question is whether a demarcation agreement or a licence agreement was originally concluded and with which provisions this was done. Riegele added: “It is important to emphasize that it is still not the goal to drive Paulaner Spezi out of the market, but to persuade Paulaner to share the costs fairly within the framework of an appropriate license fee.” Origins of the dispute Two Thirds Cola and One Third Orange:I was completely surprised that this worked right away. I was expecting to have to tweak it with fourths instead but this is so darn close! Immediate winner for me and I didn’t experiment any further. Variations:

We also feel that we have a responsibility towards our Spezi partners, all of which are Bavarian family breweries. With them we made the brand big.”Oktoberfest is also celebrated at Paulaner Bruhaus, also known as the Paulaner Brewery (or, as it is more commonly known, the Paulaner Brewery). With a classic flavor, Paulaner Hefe-Weissbier is the number one wheat beer in Germany. I won’t be using all of those lemons. That’s just to make the pictures a little more colourful. Also, Spezi is typically served with a lemon wedge at a restaurant. Though, using oranges might have been more apropos. Perhaps I’ll have to retake these pictures sometime in the future? It said it was “incomprehensible” that Paulaner benefitted from the Spezi brand “without sharing in the costs of brand defence and brand development”.
