Battery wise this is still the same at 1400mAh but this time you have a USB Type C port which apparently charges at up to 0.8A charge rate. I found that at 18 watts and with the 0.5ohm coil, it was a bit too strong for my tastes, so I ended up opening up the airflow and started vaping RDL (Restricted Direct Lung), and I soon found that this is where the Sceptre Tube excelled.Even with 20mg nic salts, I was really enjoying the vape, full bodied flavour, warm but not too warm, and smooth. Thevapour production was pretty decent for such a low wattage. So far so good, but there is a slight amount of condensation on the pod base and in the pod port. I would recommend this for new vapers who need a strong nic hit – but they might be put off by the coil change aspect – so not for complete technophobes. As usual this will vary according to your own vaping habits, power level, coil resistance etc. But to give you a guide… I will add that a couple of times I have been greeted with the “flashing LED” and the device will not fire. The 5-ohm mesh RDL coil works at 18 or 20 watts and is designed to deliver a restricted direct-to-lung hit with lower-nicotine e-liquids. I was concerned it was leaking with the 0.5ohm coil due to the fact I seemed to be refilling very frequently. But realistically a low resistance coil with a 2ml tank capacity is going to need filling a lot! Mod Performance

It doesn’t matter if you vape Mouth to Lung or Direct to Lung, neither is ‘better’ than the other. There is a suggestion from some, that people should start with an MTL vape and then move on to, or ‘upgrade’, to a DTL vape. While I would always suggest starting with a MTL device (for no other reason than it’s closer to how most people smoke) there is no good reason to switch to DTL later unless you really want to, and if you like a bit of both in your day, with the Sceptre you can do both with the one device!
