About this deal

The application is extremely easy, especially since this can be done when the product is wet or dry. During the application process, I opted to apply it when the car was dry. It was as simple as applying a small amount to the panel, and then spreading it across the paintwork with a microfibre cloth. I then flipped the cloth over for one final pass to ensure the product had been suitably worked in. In terms of the application time from start to finish, it was twenty minutes. I used an Autoglym microfibre cloth, but any high quality cloth in your collection will do. The cloth glided across the paintwork and the application really was effortless.

One area that, at the time of writing this, it hasn’t been applied to is the alloy wheels. These had UHD Wax applied to them the week before and I’d rather give the Rapid Ceramic Spray a fresh run on alloys that do not have any protection on them. Who is Rapid Ceramic Spray for? The tropical-scented coating product offers up to 3 months of durable hydrophobic protection. This will protect your vehicle bodywork against various orms of damaged caused by the natural environment. Not only does it add a large amount of gloss to the paintwork, it is also extremely hydrophobic. My car is white, and white can be a tough mistress when making it look glossy. Even after the car had been dried, it had a wet look to it and that was only after the first application. It actually prompted a few neighbours to ask what the product was I was using since they had seen me spray it onto the car. They were blown away about how glossy a spray on product made the car look. Faulty products will be replaced as soon as we are able to verify the fault and ship another to you.

Do not apply in direct sunlight or if paintwork is warm to the touch. For best results do not apply in temperatures over 25°C. Can be applied to wet paintwork but for maximum durability apply when dry. Rapid Ceramic Spray has the advantage of being able to be applied on to a dry or a wet surface so if the vehicle is being detailed, the coating can be used as a last stage rapid protection offering or if the vehicle is being maintained, during the wash stage it can be applied directly after rinsing the shampoo to add an extra layer of protection. It is possible, but there is a limited gain from doing so. It is not something we would recommend. On-going cleaning with a Bodywork Shampoo Conditioner and periodic applications of UHD Wax would be more effective. Rapid Ceramic Spray is compatible with all of Autoglym’s shampoos and wax products as well as the Polar Series. We recommend that Pure Shampoo is used as part of your regular on-going wash cycle and UHD Wax can be used to boost protection and finish periodically throughout the year. Avoid using abrasive products such as polishes as well as solvent based products like Intensive Tar Remover as they can reduce the longevity of coating. If you do need to use these products, apply Rapid Ceramic Spray to affected areas afterwards. Can Rapid Ceramic Spray be used on top UHD Wax, SRP and any of Autoglym’s other finishing products?Another thing to note is that this should not be applied to glass, especially the windscreen. I am presuming this is due to it having the potential to cause judder to the windscreen wiper blades, as well as the windows moving up and down in the door. div>

We recommend leaving the coating for at least 24 hours after application before washing for the first time. Rapid Ceramic Spray creates a tough, protective barrier for maximum resistance against the natural environment.Autoglym does state that Rapid Ceramic Spray lasts up to three months. As with any protection product this time frame is dependent on the environmental conditions, how many miles the car is used for as well as how often it is washed and the quality of the shampoo. Rapid Ceramic Spray should be applied on mild dry weather days with an optimum temperature between 10-25ŒŠŒŒçC.
