I used a blend of Piri Piri spice from Schwartz (also known as Peri Peri) (you don’t have too) but it was something I had in my cupboard If you're not already converted to swapping your cooking oils for a bottle of frylight, (the 1 calorie cooking spray), then hopefully my top 10 uses may help sway you to make the change. Or if you love the stuff like me, maybe you can take at least one new ideaaway with you from this list. the test piece of garlic, discard it, and then carefully slide the remaining garlic into the oil. Use a wooden spoon to move the garlic around the pan. Use the garlic oil to make more fried garlic. There’s no need to start with a new batch of oil when making fried garlic again.

Store leftovers in an airtight container and keep it in the fridge for up to 3 days. The sauce will set into a gel consistency because of the cornstarch but it will melt when added to a hot pan. Variations & substitutions
