The Lezyne Super Pro GPS weighs 60 grams and its battery life is around 28 hours, while it will record up to 400 hours of riding data, so there’s plenty of capacity to keep you riding as long as you like. But the latest software update to Lezyne’s phone app adds Komoot integration, which lets you select the Komoot Tours menu option on your phone to get a listing of your mapped routes and select one to follow, which is then pushed to the GPS unit. Komoot provides a more intuitive route builder and a menu of other people’s rides to tap into.

Oooh, I'm veering towards the negative again. Having used the near-identical Super GPS on every ride for perhaps a year, I'm niggled that few – if any – of its existing niggles have gone. Bar the new landscape display option, a smoother case and better waterproofing for the micro USB port (which was clumsy but never a problem unless you dropped it in a deep puddle), little has really changed. Unfortunately, the route creator won’t allow you to search for locations, so you must tap on a specific place on a map to choose it as the waypoint. In the program, go to the drop-down menu. In Windows, the program has the menu in the top right corner, it says 'Lezyne GPS Firmware Programmer'. On a Mac, the drop-down menu is located next to the Apple logo in the top right corner of your screen, it says Lezyne-Firmware-Programmer. Navigation requires loading a route from your phone to the computer. There's no pre-loaded base map, but there are turn-by-turn directions. Routing doesn't always seem to follow the least traveled roads or greenways, in my experience although you are able to select your preferences in the app, according to Lezyne. The ability to do this is a little hidden right now, but they claim to be adding a pop-up feature that will make it much more clear.It’s monochromatic and low resolution, so it doesn’t require too much power. This translates into longer battery life.
