It was just boring and looked like a manga that I would read in the 2000's. Villains that the only reason they are villains it's because they hate the FL and because they are bad people, like seriously?

Considered nigh worthless for having failed to inherit the superhuman powers of the bloodlines into which she was born, Miyo Saimori lives her days unwanted and unloved. Miyo and male lead relationship is feels natural too, the male lead at first only interested in here= because she is unusual, then he cares about her and finally love. Miyo is also same, male lead told us that at first Miyo doesn't really care who is it as long as they provide her home but after several chapters, it changes to be, "I wanted to be here." While not egregious, I did find there to be some very minor inconsistencies in the characters faces - though, that could've just been me. On the whole the quality is pretty solid, some of the scenes are very pretty, but...As soon as the movie was announced, I immediately went to read the manga. Seeing as the manga isn't completed yet, the movie did a great job with pacing and making sure the ending was both satisfying, yet ambiguous. They had to cut out a couple of details, such as Kaya's husband having feelings for Miyo and vice versa, but it didn't really hinder the story much, so I don't really mind it. I'll start off by stating my feeling: do you know that feeling when you watch someone constantly degrade themselves and you can't do anything to stop it? It's a frustrating feeling. I should add, that the character designs while interesting in that the female character is brown eyed and brown haired, , which is unusual for a female character in anime, is actually fairly common place for a Shoujo protagonist. So... nothing exciting. Her personality is "abused by family" and "endlessly grateful to Master Kudou, while his personality is "doesn't listen to his wife" and "cold but secretly caring. Thing is, I have no idea where Mr Tsundere/Kuudere really got his personality from - but maybe I just fell asleep in the middle of the relevant episode - or why he has multiple powers. Some recap of the storyline (contains spoilers): FL is treated as absolute dirt, and then is married off to a seemingly super cold elite ML. Some misunderstandings happen, then the nice old lady (close to ML since he was a child) communicates between two of them and solves the miscommunication. ML warms up to her as he sees her kindness and gradually learns about her past. FL very slowly grows confidence (yay character development!). That's a very sweet relationship. Then, SPOILERS... Her family falls to ruin. Take that, FL's crappy family! I hate FL's sister and I was satisfied to see the retribution. From the light novel, FL discovers she has the power everyone wants. My Happy Marriage is a period piece romance set in the Meiji-eta in Japan. The show includes supernatural elements through the existence of “grotesqueries,” which we learn more about as you get further into the series, as well as “gifts” that take the form of various super powers, like control of fire or the ability to manipulate others. After watching the season, the scope of these powers feel as open-ended as other thinks like cursed energy from Jujutsu Kaisen and stand abilities in Jojo’s, so the sky’s the limit. The first episode has no trace of fantasy elements in it, so if you skip the From a painful upbringing to a painful marriage, that's the future that awaits Miyo—or so she thought. Contrary to her expectations, her new husband is actually kind-hearted. What really awaits Miyo is a blissful, everlasting marriage full of happiness!
