About this deal

Why not also join the Reduce Your Supermarket Spend money saving Facebook community where members share savvy ways to cut down on their grocery spend. More than 10 years ago, Tesco used to accept Farmfoods coupons to get a discount on your food shop with them. For many years we were buying the same Costco store brand paper, and while I didn’t love it, I was fine with it, especially compared to those see-through (not even a paper-thin! ;)) offerings of public restrooms in our office building and elsewhere. But with the shortage of the product in question in the first 3-4 months of pandemic, we started to venture into products from all possible sources - and that’s when I realized that I didn’t like many of the presumably fancier brands. Gentle Clean (with puppies on it - fortunately no canine tongue action is involved in the cleaning process)

Geographical advisory: this post concerns a particular version of a paper product destined for the smallest room in the house, which may not be available outside the UK. This pitches the appeal of my post to an estimated four readers - well, four that I know of - but that has never stopped me from writing about topics close to my heart before. Or close to my...hmm...I think I would rather not spell it out.NatWest, RBS and Ulster Bank to close at least 172 branches in 2023/24 – here's the full list, plus alternatives We've found the cheapest toilet roll out of Home Bargains, Poundstretcher, B&M and Quality Save - and counted every sheet. For reasons of hygiene and safety, personal grooming products, cosmetics or items of intimate clothing cannot be returned. Right, so whatever happened to old Andrex? You know, the soft, thinnish style of paper with a slightly raised line top and bottom like a margin. I have only tried the top two variants: Gentle Clean is fairly soft in fairness, but I really don't want puppies, while Classic Clean is definitely too rough. Strangely, I don't believe any of the above products contain recycled fibres, which was my first thought to explain the roughness. I would be interested to know if you have any experience of these or the other varieties, which in my view have completely gratuitous and counterproductive bells and whistles. Nobody wants to be throwing money down the toilet amid the cost of living crisis and when it comes to spending a penny, there are pounds to be saved by shopping around. With rising energy, food and fuel prices, it's tough out there for many UK families.

We used to get Asda Shades quite a bit, but my partner didn't like the tear, plus it has gone up in price with everything else and we aren't that close to an Asda. However, you can see the offers from their mailing list on a leaflet that drops through your door or by searching online for Farmfoods offers. Does Farmfoods deliver? Founded in Scotland as a butcher’s shop, they began to freeze their meat so it could be shipped to wider locations. Our specialism is frozen food and we believe passionately that frozen food is the best solution for most family meals." If you don’t have Farmfoods near you, there are other specialist supermarkets that sell groceries that are predominately frozen. It’s a great way to money saving way to start on Christmas early or even give the Savings Card to a student who lives away from home. We moved closer to an Aldi and their toilet roll is decent quality and price. So the majority of the time we now just get the Saxon Soft toilet tissue. Have we gone into too much detail about toilet roll? Quite possibly. But it proves that when it comes to spending a penny, there are precious pounds to be saved.
