The starter kit is brilliant and does truly give you everything you need to basically get up and go straight from the off. We boil our water and make the feed in a bottle. I find the gauge inside the flask very hard to read in our kitchen lights. I also want to mix the formula in the hot water prior to it starting to cool. So once the formula is mixed, I pop it into the RapidCool and then it does the work.

The instructions say to measure out your milk powder into one of the dispensers, boil fresh water, add the water to the cooling flask, add the powder, close the flask and then mix it together. The freshly boiled water can and should be used immediately for the safest feed. The NHS guidelines state that the water should be no less than 70°C, but this does not mean that you must wait for it to reach this temperature first before mixing with formula.
