About this deal

Really, Chris?” she yelled. “Because it looked like you were tongue-punching the tonsils of a stranger on the couch I paid for. But please, explain to me what I’m actually seeing.” Mazey Eddings is a neurodiverse dentist, author, and (most importantly of all) a stage mom to Zadie and Yaya, her cats. She has roots in North Carolina and Ohio, but calls Philadelphia her home. One of my favorite aspects was the incredibly fun dialogue. Harper had a great friend group and the dynamics between them all was fantastic. If you are a Reader who loves hilarious dialogue, you have to read this. She pushes herself so hard to be successful, to be on the top to be untouchable. In that way she thinks nobody hurts her when she suffers from loneliness at the top, all by herself. A Brush With Love series #3. Contemporary romance. Can be read as a stand-alone. 5e epilogue does wrap up all three relationships of the series.

But what if attraction is stronger to destroy the barriers she’s built? What if she cannot function properly without him by her side? Could she restrain her anxiety monster who tries to take control of her? Could she learn to open her heart? It did not feel like a dentist book. I thought they would be swooning over each other in a workplace romance way, but nope. They’re both in school and we barely got to see any dental or oral surgeon stuff. We rarely see them dentist. I knew Harper was an oral surgeon, but we rarely got good behind the scenes look at what it was like. It was mainly just about the rigor of the school and pressure of it all. Yes, that’s useful information for Harper’s character, but it didn’t feel like the book I signed up to read. Adding insult to injury, when she gets to Colin's she discovers his best friend, Jude, is currently staying there as well. Ughhhh, life is unfair. Both of them were struggling to move past self-doubt, guilt and fear. I loved watching them open up with one another about their pasts and really support each other through those moments. Their vulnerability was beautiful. And Indira was fiery, smart, perfectionist questioning her self worth. I loved how she acted so patient, caring, neutral around Jude. I loved how she stands next to him when he needs her most, holding him tight with her healing hands, supporting him fully. Because healing him also means healing her self. Book 3 in the A Brush With Love series ~ previous book characters are involved here, but probably fine as a standalone.

We both really love peanut butter,” Chris eventually whispered, saying it like he was delivering the world’s most melodramatic line in a play. There was so much to love about this book . . . Thank you to Mazey Eddings for this romance with its messy, true, and painfully real representation of anxiety . . . We need more books like this in the world’this is an incredible third installment to the already hilariously-fun 'A Brush With Love' series and I am so glad i can add this to my list of 'books that make me suffer a bit less'. She stormed through the apartment, dropping bags on the kitchen counter as she gathered up odds and ends. Dan, who is a first year dental student with a family legacy he must contend with, so he doesn’t have that same passion for pulling teeth Harper does. Even though he finds himself falling for her, he’s willing to play by Harper’s rules. This was a great ending to the series, and I will definitely be reading more of whatever Mazey Eddings writes! Oh boy! This is… this book… this…. Christ! I cannot gather my words… I’m an emotional mess! I felt like I am overwhelmed because of extremely intense feeling injection! I felt too much! I loved this book too much and it hurts!

Enemies to lovers??? Grumpy x sunshine??? They’ve known each other since childhood??? He’s her brothers best friend??? Fake dating??? This book had ALL of the best tropes and I adored it.Thank you to St. Martin's Press, St. Martin's Griffin, Macmillan Audio and NetGalley who provided me with a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. All the thoughts and opinions are my own. Even though this is cute and funny though, that's not all it is. Both Harper and Dan had great depth of character with some hard-hitting story lines in their past. Indira darted to the bedroom, ripping through the closet and grabbing any bags she could find. She moved like an efficient tornado, shoving shoes and chargers and shirts into duffel bags as she went. Summary: When long time frenemies Indira and Jude are thrown together for her brother’s huge wedding celebration, they devise a plan to be each other’s fake dates. Soon, however, things begin to feel a bit too real… Mazey Eddings's writing is authentic, emotional, and intensely romantic! To me, it's like a Taylor Swift song in book form' Ali Hazelwood, New York Times bestselling author

On top of the incredibly touching, wise, lovely portrayal of mental health and finding love as we heal from trauma, was the joy of seeing the BRUSH WITH LOVE cast of secondary characters coming together. These characters feel like old friends and the group scenes were an absolute treat. I'm sorry to say goodbye to this world, but so glad I've been able to come along this incredible journey and finally see Indira and Jude get their happily ever after! Eddings delivers a heartwarming enemies-to-friends-to-lovers romance...It’s a fun combination of tropes, and, as their mutual trust grows, they eventually indulge their attraction in scenes both steamy and humorous. Readers will root for Eddings’s wounded protagonists to find love and healing." - Publishers Weekly My only criticism is that there were times were the story seemed to drag just a bit, and therefore might have been just a tad too long. Otherwise, I think this is a really great romcom with a lot of emotional depth and I highly recommend both the book and the series. It’s hard to put into words how special this book is. Mazey Eddings has done it again and crafted the loveliest, most heartwarming, emotional-yet-hysterical contemporary romance novel.Thrust into an elaborate (and ridiculously drawn out) wedding, Jude and Indira – who can’t seem to escape her ex and his new girlfriend – are both soon at breaking point. But, irrationally, it was a hell of a lot easier to ride the wave of a decent week than to sit down on Dr. Koh’s beige couch and sift through her feelings until she realized she’d been deluding herself and her week was, in fact, total shit. It's the largest living thing on earth. Larger than trees, elephants, whales-this one living thing takes up over three square miles in Oregon." She could almost feel him turning that random fact over in his brain. She was glad she wasn't facing him. This would be so much harder if she had to look into his eyes instead of at the wall.
