The first book of this kind I read was Wimpy Kid and I almost completed all books in that series along with my younger sister, then I came across Dork Diaries and we both heard a sample from the 6th book from the series and loved it. We finished the whole book and was really happy. I felt SO insanely happy I could just… VOMIT sunshine, rainbows, confetti, glitter, and… um… those yummy little Skittles candy thingies!Before I knew it, it was bedtime. I'm not sure where the time's gone since book one was published, but Nikki's now getting very grown up and things finally seem to be progressing with her crush, Brandon. Yay! Brianna handed me a trendy teen fashion magazine to read, just like in a real salon. I was impressed. Until I realized she had swiped MY new Teen Thing mag from my room. The little THIEF!! Even Chloe and Zoey are excited for the dance. In gym class, their practicing swim meets. Nikki says she's not going, so neither are her friends. She tries to convince them to go without her, but it was easier said than done. They argue for a little bit until class ends. Later, Nikki meets up with Brandon and refuses to let him tell her his side of the story for why he couldn't go to Crazy Burger. When she tries to talk about their relationship, he walks off. She crosses item 4 off the list. Later that night, she gets a bull dial from him, much to her frustration.
