We like this fan’s smart capabilities. Duux’s app is easy to use, and the fan is easy to control by voice or integrate into your smart home routines. However, unlike an air conditioner or heater, there’s little point running a fan when nobody’s in the room. This makes us question just how much value the capability adds, fun though it is.The Princess smart fan can either heat your room or cool it down depending on what you need, which is great for countries where the temperature drops down during the night and you need a little extra warmth. Firstly, the fact that you don’t have to get up to adjust it. This might just seem like an excuse for laziness, but it’s also invaluable as a time saver if, for example, you’re working and don’t want to keep getting up to adjust the airflow in your office.
While most fans only offer 1, 2 or 3 different wind speeds, the Whisper has no fewer than 26. This way you determine exactly how hard the wind blows through the room. So you can shout at the controls rather than angrily pressing buttons to make it do what you want. The Duux Whisper Flex Smart is a quiet, powerful and reasonably good-looking fan. It’s up against some stiff competition in the stellar Meaco 1056P, however, which has a little more welly and slightly lower power consumption for a slightly lower price. Your choice really comes down to which style you prefer and whether you think app and voice controls are worth the extra. Either way, you’re getting an exceptional pedestal fan. The Whisper is super powerful and extremely quiet. The smart structure of double fan blades makes the product up to 7x more powerful than traditional fans.
