About this deal

The game is fairly linear, but seems more open, giving players a sense of control without being overwhelmed or confused

Can you beat Death himself? Find out in this adventure through Purgatory, Hell and into the pearly gates of heaven. If you succeed, you get to add your name to the Book of Life. Fail, and I guess you’re…well… dead. You can find out more and book to play the Hellevator at https://cluehq.co.uk/birmingham/escape-games/#thehellevator There you have it, our list of escape room board games that’ll keep you busy. If you have a group of friends and everyone chips in, you can run through several of them in an evening, at your house, and spend less money than visiting a real escape room. For a reason unknown, your legs have stopped working. Your arms barely have strength to move yourself forward in an old wheelchair. There is not a single living human in the dimly lit facility where you remain trapped. From these settings, you'll have to escape, to get out of this place. During that journey you may learn what happened to you, and what went on in here. In Escape Tales: The Awakening, you take on the role of a father trying to wake up your daughter from a 2-month coma. During your journey, there will be many difficult decisions you have to make that will all play a role on which of the many endings you will get.Haunted by visions of your past, and suffering from amnesia for almost ten years, you embark on a quest to discover buried secrets, putting the pieces of the puzzle together of the life you once had, and to find out once and for all, what happened to your missing family, and this once thriving village. Escape Room The Game, Version 2 - with 4 Thrilling Escape Rooms | Solve The Mystery Board Game for... This game is the most unique from all the other games on this list. Firstly, this game is more grandiose and requires 2 or 3 sessions to complete, so it’s great for someone who wants to really sink their teeth into a game with some story and world building elements. It does have some more mature subject matter that may be difficult for some people. If you’re able to host several game nights to complete this escape, it’s one of the top choices. Also, this is much more story-driven than the others on this list. I found all four games to be too close to other, similar puzzles that I encountered in previous games from the same company, there wasn’t really anything new and exciting. The theming was on point, being a creepy old mansion that may or may not be haunted, so that was a great extra!

Armed with only an empty suitcase, and faint memories… you are determined to discover the details of the life you once lived here. Please note there is an element of crawling required by all players in this room. You can find out more and book to play Edith at https://www.unescapable.co.uk/#rooms1. Operation Clearsafe – Project Breakout, Brighouse

Operation Clearsafe can be run on scalable levels of scary. So if live actors and jump scares just really aren’t for you, you can still enjoy all the fun this game has to offer without the fear (fun) factor.

I’m sure you know the story of Sweeney Todd. Barbershop… people going missing… plenty of delicious pies in Mrs Lovetts’ shop downstairs. Enigma have created a magnificent recreation of the Victorian tale in this game, with an amazing centerpiece that sets this off perfectly! Despite the dark tale, you won’t be too scared, just make sure you don’t try any of those pies! These rooms probably won’t scare you, but they scratch the Halloween itch just nicely! Frankenscape – Ctrl Alt Esc, Margate Gameplay consists of exploration, solving puzzles and piecing together the story of what happened inside this complex where you are trapped and what happened to you and why are you trapped in here. The ultimate goal, achieved by puzzle-solving and navigating, in the game is to escape the abandoned facility. Saving the game not allowed.
