About this deal

Romantic, unpredictable, relatable, and so very enjoyable. This important story must be made into a movie.” — Arnold Shapiro, Oscar & Emmy-winning Producer Be kind, be honest and be you and move on. It’s a great message and I adored reading this story! Highly recommend it for everyone!! There’s a very interesting twist in the story I never see it coming. Wow! Needless to say from that moment I had to know more.

Not Hailey. You." [Alexis] pokes my collarbone. And now I know precisely where I reside on her social ladder: Second rung from the bottom. Hailey occupies the last one, and as soon as she learns I'm invited to Alexis's birthday and she's not, she'll know it too.I will share this book with my clients who suffer from OCD and even those who don’t. Samantha is a wonderful character. Every Last Word is an amazing read.” — Karen Blesius Rhodes, LCSW How does AJ’s past encounter with Samantha and the “Crazy Eights” affect their relationship? How do they manage to move past it? I don’t know what to say about the purely obsessional OCD that became the center of this book because obviously it’s not my place to say if it was portrayed in a good way. Obviously I think it captured the readers rather perfectly; drawing our attentions and making us feel for the characters, but it’s not my place to say if it was portrayed correctly. I’ll let others be the judge of that I've been writing for a long time, but I became a published author when Time Between Us came out in 2012. I didn't set out to publish a bo …more Hi Kristine,

Highly recommend it if you’re into contemporaries, want to find out more on mental health and what it means to have good people and safe space around you. My friends can’t know about my OCD or the debilitating, uncontrollable thoughts, because my friends are normal. And perfect. Yet Sam knows she'd be truly crazy to leave the protection of the most popular girls in school. So when Sam meets Caroline, she has to keep her new friend with a refreshing sense of humor and no style a secret, right up there with Sam's weekly visits to her psychiatrist.Sam’s parents and younger sister: They are aware of Sam’s OCD and provide her with a supportive and understanding home environment. INTERVIEW | Publishers Weekly | Publishers Weekly’s PW KidsCast: A Conversation with Tamara Ireland Stone

This book is a book that stays with you and it left you thinking about stuff and inspires you. Or at least, that was how I felt. While other books have changed my perspective of the world and changed how I perceive my life in general, no other book have ever come close to exactly describing the jumbled mess in my mind. Samantha was a likable character. I felt for her. I love how she dealt with all of her struggles and overcame her issues. Sam learns not only to accept herself but to stand up for herself and have friends that accept who she is. She was strong on her own, but I love her relationship with AJ as well. AJ really deep down cares for Sam and is there for her no matter what he finds out about her. They were a great couple. I absolutely loved the first two-thirdsof the book. I connected with Sam’s pain, and I feel like a lot of the OCD aspects were portrayed reallywell. What message do you think Tamara Ireland Stone is trying to convey about mental health and self-acceptance?So begins the tale of Sam and Drake—from the time they link minds, forging a bond that leads to an unconventional romance—to their fight for survival against the corrupt, twisted organization known as 'Rent-A-Kid.' Evolved Publishing brings you "Forbidden Mind" (Book 1 of the Forbidden Trilogy), by award-winning author Kimberly Kinrade. A pivotal turn of events arrives in the form of Caroline, a newcomer who emanates an authentic, unfiltered aura, laced with wit and devoid of pretensions. Despite the need to shroud their friendship, akin to her clandestine psychiatric appointments, Sam can’t help but be drawn to her. Reese can’t remember anything from the time between the accident and the day she woke up almost a month later. She only knows one thing: She’s different now. AJ: A member of Poet’s Corner, AJ is a talented musician who catches Sam’s attention. He had a negative past encounter with Sam and her friends, which adds tension and complexity to their growing relationship. In Tamara Ireland Stone’ s poignant novel “Every Last Word,” we are introduced to Samantha McAllister, a seemingly typical junior-year student who seamlessly blends into her group of popular friends. Yet, beneath the veneer of popularity and perfection, Sam grapples with a secret that remains unfathomable to her friends – she suffers from Purely-Obsessional OCD, a condition that thrusts her into a relentless tide of intrusive thoughts and worries that she can’t switch off.
