About this deal

As I previously said, I’m a huge fan of Isle of Paradise‘s tans. Its clear formulations are always reliable for delivering a streak-free tan and I’ve never had an issue with it transferring onto my clothes or leaving tan stains on my bed sheets. I was apprehensive about trying this tan as it has a colour guide, which is helpful as it allows you to see where you’ve applied it, but historically I’ve found this to be a sign that the tan will transfer. I washed this tan off after a couple of hours after getting distracted by a reality TV show, and then went to sleep. The tan had continued to develop overnight and in the morning was slightly darker than when I’d applied it, and overall I was left with a light bronze tan. My biggest concern was whether it would cover my old tan, which had begun to fade rapidly. Thankfully it had, giving me a uniform, golden finish. To be used with any Isle Of Paradise self-tanning water, your tan will develop within 4 to 6 hours and can be washed off earlier for a less intense look. Plus, the easy application makes tanning hard-to-reach areas a breeze.

The three express tans I tried have all been formulated to allow you to wash off between 30 minutes to one hour after you’ve applied. You can leave them on for longer for a deeper tan, but the idea is that you’ll still get a nice bronze in the minimum time. The tan then continues to do its thing and will be fully developed around 4-6 hours later, while you can go about your day not worrying about an aroma of tan following you around or being terrified to lean on any white furniture. The best way to apply fake tan will depend on the type of formula you are using. If you’re using a serum, such as The Body, your hands are the best tools to use. For mousses or gels, you’ll want to use a mitt for a natural, even result. With your normal fake tan, it takes roughly six hours for your tan to be fully developed, however with the express fake tan, you only need to leave it on for just one hour. What I don’t love so much is having to plan out my whole day around the normal 4-6-hour development time. That’s why I was so excited to try not one, but three new express tans, which promise to deliver a seamless tan in an hour or less. How do express tans work?Tanning when you’re on the fairer side can be intimidating. There's a lot that can go wrong and when it doesn't wash off immediately, panic can set in; as can some more untraditional removal methods (read: lemon juice, which is never a good idea). But trust us when we tell you, these products won’t steer you wrong, it’s all about choosing which is right for you and some expert tanning tips to give the results you’re after. I’ve become a religious fake tanner. I’m not even sure how it happened, but I can’t remember the last time I went more than a week without popping open a bottle of fake tan and applying it from head to toe. I love the glowy golden finish. I even love the controversial biscuity smell. Now when we asked him if we’re in a rush and only really need to tan our face and arms, how low should we go? His response? “Take it to the t*ts when tanning your face and arms!” Best of all? The new Isle of Paradise Express Self-Tanning Mousse provides a happily hydrated sun-kissed glow after 30 minutes, a medium tan result after 2 hours or a deep bronze in as little as 4 hours!

This is the fastest ever developing formula from Isle of Paradise - and one we’ll forever be grateful for! Now we personally can’t wait to see the glow we can achieve in as little as 30 minutes - especially for the next night out or date night… We’ll keep you posted! One person said: “This tan is perfect because I’m always in a rush - washed off after 30 mins and was ready to go out!!” If you’ve prepared correctly and have still ended up with orange palms, you’ll want to scrub, scrub, scrub. Exfoliate the area with a manual scrub or loofah, and then rinse. For further removal, recruit the help of tan remover, or baby oil. How to apply fake tan

Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate. The key is to moisturise your body daily to prevent dry skin. Then after two days lightly buff your tan with an exfoliating product. Yes, that sounds counterintuitive but this stop old tan from clinging into dry patches. This is where you can start to layer light tan over the top without it being a patchy mess. The best fake tan for pale skin If you're brand new to tan, choose a formula with a colour guide. They can look a little more scary (because the initial shade can be a lot more intense than the wash-off result) but they guide you so you know exactly where you've applied tan and where you haven't. This avoids missed patches. 4. Less tan = less colour Self-tan for the time poor just got better with Isle of Paradise’s fastest ever developing formula. It’s time to experience self-tanning on your own terms with Isle of Paradise’s new Express Self-Tanning Mousse that develops in as little as 30 minutes. You really can ‘apply and go!
