About this deal

Copper has excellent heat conductivity. Good copper pans are very expensive but should last a lifetime. As this metal can react with acidic foods, fish and meat, these pans are normally lined with tin or stainless steel to act as a barrier. If the pan might not be clean enough during the normal dishes, you could add a splash of vinegar and water into the pan and heat it. The water / vinegar mixture will clean cook the pan. After this, rinse the pan well, dry and rub with a little bit of sunflower oil for example. And your pan will be as new. Prepare with flair: In high-quality, mirror-polished stainless steel, these pots and pans are as stylish as they are strong. In fact, the stainless steel is guaranteed for 10 years*, so you know it’s made to last. Also never put cold water into a hot pan or plunge hot cookware in cold water. Sudden changes of temperature may cause the metal to warp, resulting in an uneven base. My pan seems unstable on my hob - why?

Designed by Jamie Oliver : "These are my go-to pans for everyday cooking – they're durable, great quality and they give brilliant results every time. That's why I've worked with Tefal for nearly two decades. Plus, we're both striving to get more people cooking delicious, nutritious food at home." Pans must have a magnetic material in the base, such as cast iron or stainless steel, to work on induction hobs. Pure aluminium or copper pans won't work. All pans are suitable for gas hobs. Remember to regulate the flame to prevent it from extending beyond the base of the pan, as this can damage the handle and waste gas. It is difficult to give a number of years, because the service life will differ depending on the conditions of usage and frequency of use. To extend its service life, you should protect it from unnecessarily high temperatures and refrain from heating a pan empty. A medium to low heat is sufficient. Do not store cooked food for a long time (one day or longer). Where can I buy accessories, consumables or spare parts for my appliance?Anything of a nature that for hygiene or associated health and safety - this includes the Outdoor Spas, Mattresses and Divan Sets Yes. To avoid the formation of small white dots or pits, bring liquids to a boil before adding salt, then stir well. Or, add salt after food has started to cook. Pitting does not interfere with cooking performance but can diminish the beauty of the stainless steel. Why does my stainless steel pan have a white film on the inside and how do I clean it? The pan has been used on too high a heat or the wrong source of heat for the pan which has resulted in the pan base becoming warped and distorted. This white film is caused by minerals in the water or from the starch released by certain foods during the cooking process. Either use stainless steel/copper cleaner or just pour a little lemon juice or vinegar into the pan and wipe it clean with a paper towel or cloth. Why are there scratches and/or pit marks in my stainless steel cookware after using them just a few times? You can also get hard-anodised or cast aluminium – which looks like cast iron but has the weight and good heat conductivity of aluminium. The original Always Pan combined 10 pieces of cookware in to one, saving us money and cupboard space, and scoring a pretty impressive 84/100 in our tests. So, we were excited to hear that Our Place was releasing a shiny, revamped version and couldn’t wait to see how it fared in testing. The results are in...

It is also necessary to avoid overheating and scratches, in particular due to use of metal accessories (spatulas, ladles) and/or due to cleaning with a scouring sponge. This discolouration is a normal reaction with stainless steel and heat. It is very simple and easy to clean. Either use stainless steel/copper cleaner, or just pour a little lemon juice or vinegar into the pan and wipe it clean with a paper towel or cloth. Will the stainless steel handles get hot?Traditional cast-iron pans can be used, but be careful not to drag them across the hob as they may cause damage. Made from stainless steel and riveted to the body for extra stability, the handles feature silicone inserts for extra comfort and grip – handy when you’re tossing pancakes or shaking up a stir-fry. Before you buy, you need to establish what type of cookware will be suitable for your hob. Many manufacturers put symbols on the bottom of their cookware to show which heat source it will work with. If the base is stubborn dirt, you can wet the pan soak first with hot water and a good degreasing dishwashing detergent. Next, if necessary, you can clean the pan with a plastic scouring pad and some liquid abrasive cleaning detergent. Stainless steel pans are designed to last a lifetime, and won’t react with any food types. They’re also dishwasher safe. Stainless steel on its own is liable to hot spots, so copper or aluminium is usually incorporated into the base.

Comfort and Safety– Featuring a comfort grip silicone handle and a heat resistant design, everyday cooking is made safe and convenient. The pan must be cleaned each time it's used to remove the film of grease that can stay on the surface. If the pan is only wiped with a paper towel or rinsed in water, the film won't be fully removed and may cook the next time you use the pan: stains may appear. Please note that during particularly busy periods, it may take a little longer to receive your delivery and our carrier may attempt to deliver to you on a Saturday. Take cooking to the next level with the new Jamie Oliver by Tefal Cook’s Classics range. Expertly crafted from tough hard anodised aluminium, this premium cookware is designed for a lifetime of professional-style home cooking. Tefal’s famous red spot indicator has had a makeover for this range. The hourglass at the centre of the spot disappears when your pan reaches the optimum temperature, so you’ll know exactly when to start cooking. An exterior coating protects your cookware from the harmful consequences of dishwashing. It is therefore extremely important not to damage this coating and we recommend that you avoid the use of scouring pads (Scotch Brite). An indicator light on the hob will start flashing if it’s not the correct type of pan, or it will simply not heat up. Be confident: The Thermo-Signal™ heat indicator on frying pans indicates the ideal temperature to start cooking for flawless results every time. When the hourglass disappears, you’re good to go.
