Does this make it more practical compared to its closest competition? Well, yes I think it does for people with smaller lawns and limited space for storage. There is also a very handy and well positioned large central handle that makes carrying the 13 kg mower to the garage or shed very easy. As with all smaller cordless lawn mowers the grass box is not going to hold as much grass cuttings as its larger counterparts, however 30 litres is a comparable for a mower of this size. 30 Litres allows longer periods of use without needing to empty grass clippings as often. The WG779E.2 is equipped with one 34cm wheeled metal mower blade that gives them two very effective benefits… The rotary blades are made from steel which is an extremely durable metal so you know that, even if you run into an unexpected obstacle, you’re not running the risk of causing any significant damage.Granted, it is not the cheapest cordless lawn mower in the small to medium yard game. But it is still budget-friendly and you get extras like the mulching option, roller and wider range of cutting heights, that aren't on the most affordable models.

The grass collection box has a hard top for durability and cloth mesh sides for improved air circulation (better collection) and enabling the box to fold flat for reduced storage. Practicalities Furthermore, the addition of the carry handle means that moving the mower from one end of the garden to the other is effortless. Although I have not tested the advertised continuous run time of 40–55 minutes in one go, time spent using it roughly addd up to that and it has definitely exceeded the 30-minute run time of many popular cordless mowers. Ease of use This really will make lawn care much easier and really makes the entire experience much less dependent on you struggling with a heavy oversized mower.

After giving the WORX WG779E.2 cordless lawn mower a thorough testing on my lawn, I’m well impressed with its performance. This mower is lightweight yet robust, making it a breeze to manoeuvre around landscaping and use for the full mowing session. Its build quality feels rather sturdy for the price point. The height settings are really easy to change using a lever on the side. I find it best to start off on a higher setting as a precut, then work down a few notches to my desired height. This prevents the mower from jamming and cutting out, which it will do if the grass is too long or wet. This is very rare though and often switching up to turbo mode gives it enough oomph to cope with light overgrowth.
