About this deal

Aramis JHL opens with a refreshing burst of citrus and fresh aldehydes that can catch you by surprise. Spicy-sweet cinnamon is the most prominent heart note. It is soon joined by a floral trio of soft carnation, rose and exotic ylang-ylang.

And so, increasingly fighting his nervousness with rum, he hoped to get through the days before arriving at Point Comfort. For one thing was certain: he would not dabble in honest trade any time soon. It was just far too risky... As for when to wear, Aramis JHL is an excellent choice for autumn/winter evenings when the warming and spicy notes will hold their own. You can expect 4+ hours of performance with moderate sillage and projection. Pretty good price/performance, however, watch out as seems this particular scent is getting more expensive. Keep an eye out at any decent fragrance discounter. Although this contemporary scent was only introduced in 2018, there are rumours of it being discontinued so grab a bottle of this classy fragrance while you can. Smells incredibly expensive.Presented in an elegant looking straight-lined bottle with gold cap and tobacco coloured label with gold surround. If like me, you don’t love a full-on leather fragrance, then Aramis Modern Leatheris a brilliant choice. Released in 2017, this masculine fragrance injects herbs and green geranium into the mix that seems to calm the overall leather note beautifully. Finished in a dark glossy colour, the square design bottle storing this exotic, warming liquid, represents clean and crisp lines.

You are welcome to tear me to pieces for this, since there are a lot of Spicebomb fans and since this is my first comment here. The opening is sharp and zesty with lemon, bergamot and lime all jostling for your attention. There is also a touch of lavender that subtly creeps in. A heart of mixed herbs, in particular the liquorice scent of anise and caraway blend with orange blossom for a sophisticatedly fresh masculine vibe. In 2018, Aramis is launching a new woody aromatic fragrance with a strong tobacco note at its heart, Tobacco Reserve. Named for a character in Dumas' The Three Musketeers, Aramis is a classic American fragrance and grooming brand which was established in 1964 by Estée Lauder Company. Its first product was the legendary Aramis fragrance by Bernard Chant. With the previous success of the Havana scents, could Aramis have another classic hit on their hands? The fragrances have decidedly different compositions but I'm eager to compare them as Aramis typically creates easy-to-like scents at affordable prices (though complexity and longevity aren't quite their strong suits).

Author Bio

While many of Aramis's fragrances are colognes or eaux de toilette, Tobacco Reserve (like Modern Leather) is an eau de parfum concentration, suggesting possibly greater projection and longevity. Aramis 900 Eau de Cologneis a real blast from the past. Released in 1973, it’s incredibly masculine yet refined enough to not feel overly Anchorman. Leaning heavily on the florals with a liberal splash of civet and oakmoss, you know you are in for a wild ride.

At this point, I am really reminded of my late grandmothers garden where geranium always bloomed to beautifully. Upon dry-down, oakmoss appears first, yet is soon overtaken by a quality leather note that is both classy and refined.Of course, Spicebomb is mainstream and is heavily pushed by many (including Pirouette Man) on YouTube and Insta, etc., but the scent is just too sweet and can be described as a cinnamon-vanilla bomb. Aramis goes a different way here and creates a winter scent that is much more classy than Spicebomb extreme. Also for younger people I can only recommend this fragrance. The Tobacco Reserve starts very sweet with tonka and tobacco. Sage spices and nutmeg provides a very subtle spiciness. Fruity notes flashed briefly times and are then gone again. I would not have recognized currant. A little moss at the end and that's it. The initial sweetness becomes more bearable as it progresses, resulting in a finely balanced scent between tobacco and spices that also has a fairly good longevity. Smoky I do not find him thereby. I know some people here really like TR, but in hindsight and considering the fact that it was discontinued - what might have you done to make the fragrance better. Make it more of a powerhouse? More intense tobacco note? Etc. Presented in a classy straight-lined bottle with gold cap and matching gold label. Not the highest quality bottle up close. For me the best winter perfume currently available for men. For this price you can't get anywhere near as good a perfume on the market.
