About this deal

On the other hand, I have seen people talked about Bacter AE causing death to their shrimps because the bacterias in it infected their shrimps. Assuming that Bacter AE contains Bacillus subtitles and Lactobacillus ONLY, this claim is "nearly" impossible. It is known that both of these species are probiotics and non-pathogenic. However, there is a study that reported Bacillus subtitles causing white spot syndrome to culture tiger shrimp Penaeus monsoon. Bacter AE Micro Powder Water Additive for furthering biofilms and the microflora/-fauna in shrimp tanks The prime role of Bacter AE is to encourage the growth of microorganisms and biofilm. So, a little powder of Bacter AE can start the bacterial colony in your shrimp tank. Bacillus Subtilis is a bacteria found in nature from your intestines to plant leaves and outcompetes pathogenic fungus and bacteria for resources. It is very heavily used in agriculture like mango farming. It is not a direct food source for shrimp, but undoubtedly keeps your aquarium healthier based on controlled trials.

Finding the right amount of dosage for the Bacter AE powder to put into your shrimp tank can be somewhat confusing. You might have already understood that Bacter AE has lots of advantages. But, overdose and other malfunctions can cause Bacter AE to kill your shrimp. Firstly, you must ensure not to use expired Bacter AE. Applying Bacter AE to your shrimp tank may kill your shrimp. Also, the dosage may vary depending on the colony of shrimp. The capacity of the tank to grow biofilm is another concern. The following recommended dosage of Bacter AE can be safe for your shrimp. Tank Capacity

Pretty much all the same. The only bacteria that can survive in a bottle or in dry powdered form and be revived in water is Bacillus subtilis and Lactobacillus. (sidenote: These bacteria types are very tolerant of a wide range in pH and temps. That's why they can survive in the digestive system. ) You can find the recommended directions for a 120-liter aquarium (which is a 31.70-gallon aquarium) below:

The Bacter AE is designed for shrimp and shrimplets. It can also be considered as rearing food, similar to the Biozyme and Polytase. Mainly it is to promote bacteria in the biofilm. An additional feeding does not have to be, but we would recommend it in combination with powder food. I would like to explain that. We offer three powder food products: Queue the new generation products: someone asked the question wether it is possible to add an ‘artificial’ bacteria that grows fast enough not to be outstripped of biofilm faster than the shrimp can eat it? You can also use the following calculations, which is based on gallons, to dose Bacter AE after the first week: Do not only feed the Bacter AE as a main meal for your shrimp. Combine it with other food, Shrimp dinner pads or some of the Shrimp Kings range of food. The container Not only does Bacter AE contribute to a healthier aquarium, but it also stimulates the growth of beneficial bacteria colonies. These colonies aid in the conversion of harmful ammonia and nitrite into less toxic nitrate, creating a stable and safe environment for your aquatic friends. With Bacter AE, you can maintain a healthy biological filtration system and provide a thriving habitat for your beloved inhabitants.

I have to thank you for writing this long post post, but I honestly really don't know how to respond to this post cause most of whats being talked about here is speculation and to me Bacter Ae is full of speculations in regards to what it actually does. I used it before for a very small amount of time and stepped away from its use for the following reasons. If you want to be safe, we recommend only using half of the official dosage amount when adding it to your tank. If you want to be even more cautious, then you can use only a small pinch. Amino acids, polysaccarides, xylanase, glucanase, amylase, protease, hemicellulase, Bacillus subtilis, Pediococcus acidilactici (Lactobacillus). What is the Dosage of Bacter AE? I’m 1 week in to cycling a new 3.5 gallon aquarium for 5-10 super tiger shrimp. I’m using plantable (small pebble) inert substrate which I sprinkled with Bacter AE when I set it up. I’ve also mixed some Bacter AE with tank water and added it to the aquarium. Three tiny ramshorn snails are now in the aquarium.
