But the meals - omg. Do not read this book on an empty stomach! I wish there had been a recipe book attached to it, Edward can COOK. The dinner parties he hosted sounded fantastic, full of conversation and, more importantly, sumptuous food. In shape, size, and spirit, the latest from New York Post reporter Vincent is like Tuesdays with Morrie with gourmet dinners Vincent's descriptions of food, written with the sumptuous detail of a restaurant review, are something to savor, as are her recollections of Edward himself and the way he dedicated himself to living after having lost the love of his life. Delightfully combining the warmheartedness of Tuesdays with Morrie with the sensual splendor of Julie and Julia, this is a memoir to treasure." -- Booklist, starred review Love Island's Gemma Owen SPLITS from boxer Prince Naseem Hamed's son Aadam as star confirms she's single again: 'I'm not in a relationship' This is the story of that friendship. I didn't like any of the characters. I occasionally admired the female mc's perseverance and self-growth, and I empathized with her loneliness, but, overall, no, I didn't relate to her personality, her drive for her career, her love of the city, etc. The mc was unsympathetic, and although I didn't like her (ex) husband either, I was unimpressed with her constant negative descriptions of him (especially since he himself had no actually voice in the book), no matter how true they may be.
