It is difficult for me to distinguish the ginger in this evil concoction, which enhances Sichuan pepper's sweetish and aromatic aspects and the saltier ones of the synthetic molecule of ambroxan. I would say that this synthetic ambergris represents the core of the fragrance, around which all the other notes have been slowly and carefully added. Suppose the initial aroma could recall some other known fragrance. In that case, the heart confirms the similarity with the amber-fougère-oriental cologne of the calibre of Ultra Mâle and Eros Eau de Toilette. Hollister cologne is very good for this price range. While plenty of budget colognes either smell pretty synthetic or don’t last very long, the best Hollister fragrances are natural-smelling and long-lasting. The whole process is smooth and relaxing. The opening is a dash of sharp, zingy citrus – like a twist of lime in soda water. It’s energizing and invigorating and screams sunshine. But underneath it all, you have got a rugged and earthy undertone of beach driftwood. Aromatic fragrances burn my nose inside out. I can’t entirely agree with the Hollister brand about keeping this one around. However, I’m all about sharing perfumes that suit every woman. Not all women love the candied 16-year-old smell I do.
