We totally understand that DIY is not for everyone and it can be very overwhelming to start building your own garden product. Therefore, you may want to consider getting in touch with a local carpenter or handyman to install it for you. As all properties are different in size, shape and style we can only advise based on how we have designed our products, not on your property. Fully Pressure Treated - All our timber gazebos & pergolas are fully pressure treated as standard, reducing the likelihood of rot and insect infestation. We take the pre-cut lengths of timber and place them in a large pressure treatment tank, where the timbers are impregnated with a non-toxic preservative. We add a colourant during this process, giving the timber a rich brown colour. The primary purpose of a pergola is to give character to the space surrounding your home. With this in mind, your choice of pergola will ultimately depend on the look you're hoping to create. The Renson Algarve is one of the more premium pergolas available. In a clean, white colour - this pergola will be sure to stand out in any garden - especially on a sunny day.

Unlike our competitors, we only use high-quality spruce timber in our wooden pergolasrather than cheap pine or mixed timber. Why do we use slow grown spruce rather than the much cheaper knotty pine alternatives?

Natural Timber Properties - Despite the care we take in selecting the very best Timber available, it can still be unpredictable as its very nature is to be porous and swell up when it gets wet. Any wooden product will do this throughout its life, but there are a few things you can do to help limit this movement:

In line with this, we preference products certified to the standards of FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) and PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification).
