About this deal

In XOXO, Sori was such a delightful character and I am so happy to now follow her journey, her ups and downs as well getting to know Nathaniel more and the struggles that fame (kpop band member) causes. Both of them develop individually in this emotionless idol making world, and somehow together they find bits of happiness, the tension between the characters were so well created and the romance in this book is swoon worthy, dare I say, better than in XOXO!

I love the forbidden nature of their relationship because he’s not allowed to date because his life is so public I LOVE the dynamic between the two leads, and dare I say almost like as much as Jenny and Jaewoo. While the first one was a "star-crossed lovers"-esq type of story, this second chance romance had me biting my nails and wishing for more, always more. And I'm just saying, there are still two more members of XOXO and I see a very possible friends-to-lovers with one of them so Axie Oh... *wink wink* Finally, the high point of this story for me was the SWEET relationship between Jaewoo and Jenny. Jaewoo is such a responsible teen and it’s obvious how much he cares for his teammates and for Jenny. Their scenes together had me grinning big! Overall: XOXO Jenny’s never had much time for boys, K-pop, or really anything besides her dream of being a professional cellist. But when she finds herself falling for a K-pop idol, she has to decide whether their love is worth the risk. A modern forbidden romance wrapped in the glamorous and exclusive world of K-pop, XOXO is perfect for fans of Jenny Han and Maurene Goo.Jenny didn’t get to be an award-winning, classically trained cellist without choosing practice over fun. That is, until the night she meets Jaewoo. Mysterious, handsome, and just a little bit tormented, Jaewoo is exactly the kind of distraction Jenny would normally avoid. And yet, she finds herself pulled into spending an unforgettable evening wandering Los Angeles with him on the night before his flight home to South Korea. This book was pure joy to read. If you're looking for a lighthearted, fresh, and fun romance, Oh's latest is absolutely for you" — Buzzfeed

XOXO follows Jenny and Jaewoo who meet unexpectedly in Los Angeles at Jenny’s uncle noraebang, or karaoke bar. They have a magical night of dancing, singing, and exploring the city before Jaewoo suddenly leaves. Three months later, Jenny and her mother move to South Korea to care for her ailing grandmother, and while she’s there, she’s enrolled in Seoul’s most prestigious arts academy. Mám pocit, že XOXO na mě poslední dobou skákalo snad ze všech stran a všichni ho vychvalovali. A tak jsem se rozhodla, dát mu taky šanci, i když jsem to původně neplánovala. Bohužel jsem ale nebyla tak nadšená, jak jsem očekávala. i didnt mean to write so much above, but truly this book is a sweet romance and very much a feel good, happy book, but the author did a lot that i really appreciated and loved even more than that sweet romance. Sori was a relatable character and I loved getting to read about her. I loved getting to read about Sori as she tried to figure out what she wanted to do with their life and how to help her family. Nathaniel was such a fun character. It was fun to read about him from Sori’s eyes. He grew a lot throughout this book and I loved how steady he was. He was always ready to help Sori. To say that I loved this book would be a crime. Simply, because loving it is not the right description! I FELL HEADFIRST AND NEVER RECOVERED 😭🫶🏻😍Simply put, this book made me happy. I guess you could say . . . I’m just a big fan.”— Emery Lord, author of The Map from Here to There When Jenny heard her grandmother is terminally ill, she and her mom flew to South Korea and for the meantime, she's an international transfer student in an elite arts academy. Stars aligned, she and Jaewoo crossed paths and learned that he's a superstar. However, he's forbidden to date. Egy este azonban összefut egy titokzatos idegennel, aki a feje tetejére állítja megszokott rutinját. Cseu, a rejtélyes, jóképű és kissé meggyötört fiú pont olyan veszélyforrás, amit Jenny messziről elkerülne, mégis egész éjszaka együtt járják Los Angeles utcáit, mielőtt Cseu hazamenne Dél-Koreába. A sparkling story of self-discovery—I was utterly charmed.”— Sarah Kuhn, author of I Love You So Mochi I love that this main character Jenny gets a chance to explore South Korea and visit family she hasn’t met before
