The Nitro's small form factor case with minimal vents doesn't help in that respect; we're talking max CPU and GPU temps in the low 80°C. It's not the worst we've seen and won't have your components melting, but it could certainly be better. As usual with a big-brand PC like this, the Acer Nitro N50 gets an underwhelming motherboard and interior. Buying from a boutique builder – something like the Skytech Archangel will get you better hardware in those departments, even at a lower budget, and a longer warranty.
