What I liked: The idea of learning more about the titans is interesting. I also like the contrast between AoT BIG cast and this very small cast. After breaking through a stronghold of old friends and enemies, Zeke hands down his plan for the Eldians to Eren. Ich hatte mir diese manga ausgesucht das es zufällig in prime reading kostenlos war und ich mein kindle etwas mehr nutzen wollte, unter anderem habe ich gestern haikyuu (die Serie) angefangen und bin einfach mega begeistert das ich mal ein manga lesen wollte. It's pleasant to look at and easy to read through, and though the story itself is kind of cliche it has been used over and over again (girl befriends socially shunned boy, etc.) because it is entertaining and gives you some reason to care what happens to the characters. Rather than themes of kill or be killed, the world is cruel, lose your humanity to fight, etc. Before the Fall centers on themes of family, love, and emotion - all in a soft boy! I love a male character who is true to his feelings. At great cost to the Garrison and the Survey Corps, Commander Erwin has managed to recover Eren from the Titans who tried to carry him off. But during the battle, Eren manifested yet another power he doesn’t understand. As Eren and Krista find new enemies, the Survey Corps faces threats from both inside and outside the walls. And what will happen to Ymir, now that she has decided to make herself the Titans’ prize? After being captured by Rod Reiss, the rightful king, Eren finally learns the terrible truth behind how he acquired his Titan powers—and the depth of his father's crimes. Given that the illustrator is different for the manga than the LN, this was a great job on his part to capture the spirit of the illustrations in the LN.
