If there is any wear to the EPS foam then you just replace the helmet immediately.

Super nice fit, I find it hard to get a helmet to fit my head without looking stupid but the Core helmet fits perfectly for me (Large). Pads are also made from better material than normal foam pads. How tight should a skate helmet be? Your helmet should be tight but comfortable. You should be able to shake your head without your helmet wobbling around.
