Later the next day, the Fair Fairy gets called down to Sam’s office (her boss), and takes a chair and attempts to leave the room with it, but Sam yells at her to sit down. He reads all the complaints about the Fair Fairy’s show, such as being mean and rude to the children and staff, stating she is the worst employee ever. After the Fair Fairy calls him bald, Sam angrily fires her on the spot, thus canceling the Fair Fairy’s show off the air. The Fair Fairy yells, “That’s not fair!”, still carrying the chair with her. Molly is the vice president of the club, with Li'l Petey as the president, who are both working on their comic, Squid Kid and Katydid.
Chief: Chief is the leader of the city police department. He has a hot temper but, underneath his fiery personality, he cares a lot about his friends. An amphibious kid with a heart of gold and a propensity for silliness. She can fly and can move stuff with her brain. Downward Dog calling the Fair Fairy "dude" might be similar to how Marcie from the Peanuts comic strip calls Peppermint Patty "sir", even though she is actually a girl. Dog Man: Dog Man (aka “The Bark Knight”) is half-dog, half-man superhero who protects his city from all kinds of dastardly villains. He is friendly and playful, but when danger arises he’ll do anything he can to save the day. Although Pilkey hasn’t yet announced anyreleases for 2020, the series is so beloved among elementary students that we imagine Fetch-22 isn’t the last we’ll see of this crusading canine. Downward Dog (The Fair Fairy's Puppet) Starts to Tell the Fair Fairy about a bungle last week where the Fair Fairy went bonkers and smashed a couple of bowls filled with ice cream, sending two kids running for their life. Even though the Fair Fairy claims it will not happen again, She goes bonkers again and smashes a kid's toy, forcing Dog Man to turn off the television, because the show feels like a horror movie. Li'l Petey asks Dog Man, "Was that show inappropriate?" Chapter 2: Shared Custody [ ] Fetch-22 is set to come out December 20th, just in time for the holidays! While little is known about this volume yet, it’s sure to be just as fun as previous books in the series. If there’s anything Dav Pilkey is a master at, it’s creating chapter books that kids can’t get their hands on fast enough. I tore through the Captain Underpants books as an elementary schooler and, almost 20 years later, am overjoyed that he’s created a series for the next generation of young readers: the Dog Man books. It is unknown why she didn't become a frog like her siblings, but it may be because she still has her psychokinetic powers.
