About this deal

Did you know that a kitty’s skin is much thinnerand moresensitive to tangles and mats? In fact, out of control mats can hinder your cat from properly resting or even lying down in some positions without discomfort and pain. (A rabbit’s skin is also quite sensitive and fragile.) Removing old hair keeps your dog cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter with a new insulating undercoat. Also known as ACV, apple cider vinegar helps acidify your equine’s stomach for better digestion and mineral absorption. It even prevents intestinal stones from forming and growing (helpful with hard water or horses that ingest a lot of alfalfa hay). As used by some of the top groomers in America, we are the U.K distributor of this amazing grooming tool. You won’t believe how easily this EquiGroomer removes your dogs shedding hair!

Coronet: A thin band of white hair just above the hoof. (The coronet also describes the upper part of a horse’s hoof.) Blaze: Where the white vertical line is wider and more prominent than a strip (above). May stop partway down the forehead or continue to the muzzle. Our groomer suggested this product to use for carding our dog. We received the 5-inch Equigroomer last week and already love it! We have raked SO MUCH undercoat off our Giant Schnauzer puppy. Her coat now looks and feels so much better. This grooming tool is definitely a game-changer. The EquiGroomer Grooming Tools effectively removes loose hair, dirt and dander on all parts of a horse’s body, including its legs and bellies. The EquiGroomer’s blade is especially useful for sensitive-skinned horses. Our EquiGroomer grooming toolsmake the experience pain-free, injury-free and stress-freefor you and your pet! This simple tool is amazing! It works great on dogs that don’t normally enjoy being brushed. My dog loved it! I can’t wait to use it at work on groom dogs. I’m telling everyone about how great it is. Our WaterWisk makes bathing your dog so much easier by removing excess soap and water even on bony areas like your dog’s hips and legs! Better yet, it’s on Sale Right Now! The shedding tool will grab, pull and remove (or thin out) the dead or molted undercoat hair which may not fall out on its own with the warmer temperatures. Removing this heavier winter undercoat will also help your canine stay comfortable – and cooler – in the heat. Running a rabbit rescue, we decided to try it on our bunnies. They love being groomed. The EquiGroomer removes a lot of hair, leaving the lionheads looking less scruffy, and all of them looking well groomed. Daisy, thank you for your awesome review and for giving our products a try on both your dog and cats! Thank you, too, for pointing out how much better their coats feel once you remove all that dull, dry hair. Our groomers really do improve the quality of an animal’s coat, no matter the type. Grooming your horse regularly will help reduce the need for frequent bathing. Also, spot cleaning (especially in the presence of infections like rain scald/rot or scratches), shampoo-less rinses and even just clear, clean water can be done more frequently with fewer negative side effects. An amazing experience with this tool. My cat is a medium/long-hair rescue and extremely averse to any grooming tools. With the Equigroomer, she’ll snuggle up and purr while I brush her. My only problem is it’s hard to get her other side, because half the time she’s asleep by the time I’m done the first side! If you decide to bathe your horse more frequently, use a gentler, hypoallergenic shampoo. (It is also better for a horse with sensitive skin.)

Horse markings are typically divided into 4 categories, but there can also be combinations of markings and other potential markings. Unsure about how often to bathe your horse? Talk to other experienced horse owners as well as your vet. Also closely monitor your horse after each bathing and then proactively adjust the frequency and products for the best outcome! Remember, just like with humans, the skin is your dog’s largest organ and its health and condition are crucial to the overall well-being – and comfort – of your four-legged companion. A dditional Reading: Many K9 guardians are grooming their own dogs because of the coronavirus shutdown. So EquiGroomer wants to help make your dog grooming smarter, not harder when it comes to carding or hand-stripping your dog.

Brushing relaxes both you and your pet with this wonderful bonding routine. It also helps reduce stress (yours and theirs). Regular brushing is an essential part of your pet’s overall hygiene, health, comfort and happiness. Kate, thank you for a very good question. It is actually best to use the EquiGroomer on a clean, dry coat. The teeth on the groomer’s blade has tiny barbs that grab onto dead, dry, scaly hair and pulls them out. A wet, dirty or oily coat flattens those scales so the teeth won’t be able to grab onto anything. That’s also why the blade will never remove hair that is healthy, smooth and shiny. It’s completely safe and keeps an animal’s coat, whether it be a horse, cat or dog, in beautiful condition. ReplyAnother great way to cool down your rabbit is with frozen ceramic tiles. Freeze for just 15 minutes and lay them down near your rabbit to use. Kathy, thanks for your very important tip. The groomer definitely works better when you use pressure but so many people are afraid to press down. But when they do, they find their pets actually enjoy the feeling, just like your cat did. Carding is a grooming term – and process – to describe the removal of a dog’s undercoat. The undercoat is the soft, short, downy and dense hair under the top (or outer) coat. The undercoat insulates and protects the skin in colder weather.

Whether you are experienced at grooming your dog or want to begin grooming your dog at home, the tips below will help create an easier experience for you and your dog! The best thing I’ve ever used to brush my medium-hair cat. She loves it and the amount of fur I got off of her was insane! Her coat immediately looked nice and shiny again. Even tried it on my short-hair cat and got a good amount off of him, until using this I didn’t even realize just HOW MUCH he sheds. I recommend this for every cat owner! According to CNN, people are spending more time in the kitchen during the coronavirus pandemic for old-fashioned, homemade comfort! Be sure to i nclude your pet with these healthy, DIY Pet Treats below! DO NOT wash your dog with human shampoo products! Only use products formulated for K9s with natural, gentle ingredients. If you have a horse that regularly shows or competes, you will likely bathe them more frequently, so they look their best in the show ring. If your horse does not compete, bathing requirements will be different. Not all dogs like to be groomed, so it is important to know your dog’s preferences and tolerance at being handled during grooming. If you have a puppy, begin grooming them at an early age to avoid issues later as they grow bigger and stronger!
