About this deal

I Loved the Smell of the Products, so Fresh yet Delicate and not at all overpowering. It has amazing cleaning power even on a cold Wash! Even on the stubborn Pizza/pasta stains left by my 2 year old! The answer to this question is that no, Fairy Non-Bio Pods do not contain any fabric softener at all, but there’s a very good reason behind this decision! Fairy’s Non-Bio laundry pods are an excellent option for a milder detergent, as they are designed for people with more sensitive skin. They have even been given the seal of approval from the British Allergy Foundation. Aesthetically, the bottle is also lovely to look at and its vibrant colour really makes it stand out from other detergents, although the scent was its best selling point. I wouldn’t say that the clothes were any softer than they are when I use my usual Comfort fabric conditioner and own brand supermarket wash liquid. They were softer than using no fabric conditioner. The fresh smell when you open the bottle didn’t transfer onto the clothes. As I said, I trust that fairy would do a good job of cleaning them as a well known and trusted brand but there was nothing remarkable about the cleanliness of the clothes.

To be honest the only thing I liked was the dosing cap that came with the bottle! I found the detergent was not great at removing stains, and didn’t leave a particularly good fragrance on the clothes. The fabric softener seemed watered down and again didn’t make the clothes smell nice and fresh. What did you like about the Fairy Non Bio products you tested? Is there anything you think would make them better? Fairy Non Bio has been voted the number one laundry brand for sensitive skin* and the Pods give your baby’s clothes a gentle clean. The clever multi-compartment Pods contain gentle ingredients and mild perfume. Simply pop one in your washing machine drum before loading the clothes on top. I pop a load of laundry on before bed so it’s finished when I get up and I have time to pop a second on before I head to work. I love ironing but it was abandoned when I gave birth.’ I think the dosing cap was an excellent addition. I struggle to see without my glasses but as the markings were in a dark grey and the liquid was blue it made it really easy to know how much I was putting in when I couldn't see very well. I also loved that the cap went straight in the machine so it wasn't much different from my usual detergent pods. The perfume was lovely, not overly pungent and just smelt very fresh and clean.

These capsules ensure a powerful stain removal feature and will keep the colours in your clothes looking bolder and brighter for longer.Washing your super-soft cashmere jumper or brand-new silk blouse can be a risky business. They often come with lengthy tags and lists of dos and don’ts to keep them looking new. However, one wrong move and you’ll open up your washing machine to fuzzy fabrics and shrunken sizes. Okay, so some of it might be salvageable with a debobbler and a little stretching, but finding a way to prevent damage and protect your clothing is a must. That’s why we’re recommending Woolite Delicates laundry detergent. The liquid formulas have been improved over the years too which means they now are very effective on oil or grease stains. Yes, you can use fabric softener on your baby’s clothes, bedding and towels, even if they have sensitive skin. Better yet, it will make baby clothes extra snuggly soft. I started using Fairy Non Bio when I had a little one, soon swapped us all on to it because I didn't want to have to do separate washes.’ 4. It smells amazing
