The only issue is to decide WHICH character is mentally obsessive and potentially homicidal. Blimey... I feel like I've been beaten up! A great psycho-sexual thriller. This book is intense, chilling, heart-wrenching in places and completely addictive. So addictive I've finished it in less than a day as I just needed to know what happened next. I was on edge throughout. The story was gripping and fantastically written. I read it with something close to disgust as the characters slowly tore away at each other, mentally wearing each other down. How are you not lure in as soon as you read the blurb? A classic sort of love story… except somebody might wind up dead — yeah, I am sold! Told in a dual POV, The Obsession manages to bring me into such a rollercoaster ride for how suspenseful and suffocating it was before it breaks me.
