In addition to the heat sink and fans, Scythe also includes thermal paste, a screwdriver, and additional fan clips so that you can install a 3rd fan for increased cooling performance if desired,. Efficient CPU cooler from Scythe, 2x 120 mm PWM fans from the Kaze Flex series, 300 - 1200 rpm, 4.0 - 24.9 dB (A), 28.2 - 86.93 m³ / h (16.59 - 51.16 CFM), 0.076 - 1.05 mmH2O, Reverse jet flow design Vraiment top, ventile super bien, ultra silencieux ! Je suis passé en watercooling depuis peu et je regrette presque mon FUMA 2 ! J'ai quasi les mêmes perf pour plus de bruit avec mon watercooling ! This article was updated on June 17, 2021 to show equalized graph settings (i.e. minimum 50, maximum 70) in benchmarks except for Cinbench R23 & AIDA64 (which ran above 70) There is no doubt that we kept bringing up the SE-207-XT Advanced, and that is because, currently, it is the class leader. However, that does not mean that is the end of the discussion. The 207 does not make concessions for anything, really. It is a large dual-tower design with loud fans, and while performance is king, we hope you are cool using low-profile RAM because ID-Cooling felt it wasn't that big of a deal. This is where a cooler like the FUMA 2 Rev.B stands out. It can run close to the competition but also makes concessions to RAM clearance and eases off the noise emitted into your ears.

Considering the 207 had the pleasure of taking air from a matched pair of 25mm fans, it is easy to see where the thermal advantage comes from, but all things considered, we feel that the Scythe FUMA 2 Rev.B is the obvious choice of the two. To top it all off, they are nearly identical in cost, so it's down to big and bulky, or big, but pleasant, you make the call. Side note: I bought the Scythe Fuma 2 around late October and I live in the Southwest United States. I have yet to see how this CPU will perform with the summer heat. That will be the true test. I will update this review around October for the results. My apologies for making more than one post about this. I can be a bit indecisive at times and I am not the most knowledgable on CPU coolers that work with NR200 builds.

On the flip side, the low RPMs are also limiting the potential performance of this cooler – I imagine this cooler would perform better with higher RPM fans. I’ll be exploring this further and testing the FUMA 2 (and other coolers) with upgraded fans in a future article. In my previous post, most people recommended the Fuma 2. After doing some research I’ve found that these two Scythe coolers are my best options in terms of price to performance. Performance-wise, they are fairly similar. Fuma has slightly better performance. Mugen has better noise levels. Mugen is cheaper. The first tests were done with a TDP enforced at a 100w limit, because most consumers considering this cooler will likely be using a mid-range CPU like the Ryzen 5 3600x. Both coolers performed on par with each other – with the FUMA 2 winning some tests by a small margin, and the NH-U12S winning other tests by a small margin. I tested both the Noctua NH-U12S and the Scythe FUMA 2 in my home’s computer room with central air set to 73F. Both coolers were tested using Noctua NT-H1 thermal paste. Best cooler ever for CoolerMaster nr200p with tempered glass, shorter mainboard standoffs and liquid metal for the cpu.

Estoy encantado de decir que este ventilador está funcionando a la perfección. Mantiene mi CPU a una temperatura óptima incluso durante las tareas más exigentes. No más preocupaciones por el sobrecalentamiento. To top it off it replaced a faulty MSI water cooler (my first water cooler MAG Coreliquid 240R) that was dead within 2 months and melting my thermal paste literally at 90c and almost cost me my PC Sin embargo, debo mencionar que la limpieza puede ser un proceso algo complejo debido a su diseño. Asegurarse de que no se acumule polvo en las aletas puede ser un desafío. Prior to testing at each TDP level, I would run AIDA64 CPU & FPU Stability test for one hour to soak the room with the heat generated from the CPU to ensure consistency in results.
