About this deal

definitely think that when the aoe version happens he will get more paint similarly to what happened to sideswipe These are ones made to test the factory at production level and to test the machine qc not the figure qc. Material would be suspect. In the past final coloring was different from retail versions of figures. Hot Rod (aka Rodimus and Rodimus Prime) is a brash and slightly arrogant Autobot protector working closely with Sir Edmund Burton. [1] In the past, he was Bumblebee's brother-in-arms, as the two have fought in many battles together. Brave and patient, he has been undercover on Earth for a long time after having been assigned to watch over Viviane Wembly, who he has grown very fond of. BIG SCREEN-INSPIRED: This 3.5-inch Decepticon Rumble (Blue) figure is inspired by the character’s appearance in The Transformers: The Movie Sometimes, the term "mini-MP" gets thrown around but really doesn't mean that. Hot Rod, however, is a legit mini Masterpiece.

ICONIC MODES: The Fallen figure features classic conversion between robot and Cybertronian spacecraft modes in 17 steps. Perfect for fans looking for a more advanced converting figure. For kids and adults ages 8 and up STUDIO SERIES VOYAGER CLASS: Voyager Class toys are 6.5-inch collectible action figures designed with specs and details to reflect the Transformers movie universe, now including The Transformers: The Movie! STUDIO SERIES CORE CLASS: Core Class figures are 3.5-inch collectible action figures inspired by epic scenes from the Transformers movie universe, now including The Transformers: The Movie! He is too small for a Voyager. I think Deluxe Plus would be a better description. His transformation difficulty is high and very much reminiscent of actual MP figures. He is actually more difficult to transform than the simplest MP figures. He even has the twisting arm action from the movie incorporated into the transformation. Hot Rod is ER OP level good...which is scary at the "Deluxe" size.INCH SCALE AUTOBOT HOT ROD: Figure features vivid, movie-inspired deco, is highly articulated for posability and comes with buzz saw and spark welder hand attachments, a Matrix of Leadership with energy effect, 2 blasters and 2 blast effects accessories With updates of two of these still coming, this is a picture I’ll probably retake a couple more times. ICONIC MODES: Figure features classic conversion between robot and licensed Corvette Stingray modes in 26 steps. Perfect for fans looking for a more advanced converting figure. For kids and adults ages 8 and up Nice review! I haven’t looked forward to a official mainline Transformer like I have for this Hot Rod in a long time. Mine will arrive on Monday. This Hot Rod is a 1/64 non-transforming robot mode figurine, and like MetaColle figures, he was made partially out of die-cast metal.

In a universe where Optimus Prime died in the Battle of Chicago, Rodimus took the mantle of Prime, ultimately defeating Megatron in a struggle atop a space bridge on Cybertron. Botcon 2015 Megatron bio card Toy bios And there was the Cyberverse Deluxe, an excellent design brought low by the fact that they forgot to paint the thing. So, I’ve been eagerly awaiting this new one, to see if it could break the streak. Both the Walmart-exclusive and the Japanese release's box art is strange in that it features a CG render of Hot Rod and Bumblebee standing side-by-side. However, Bumblebee is at the forefront and is far more prominent. Unlike most modern instruction pamphlets, Hot Rod's instructions are printed in full color on the Hasbro version. The instructions on the TakaraTomy version, on the other hand, opt for the usual monochrome. Bot mode is sharp. There is very little hollow plastic syndrome here: the only really noticeable areas are on the butt plate and under the feet. He is not littered with blast effects ports either. The available ports in robot mode are on his forearm exhaust pipes, calves, and under the feet (not shown). Figure also includes 2 movie-inspired blasters and 2 blast effects, and features buzz saw and spark welder hand attachments inspired by the scene where Hot Rod slices through robot kelp and giant squid tentacles, then repairs Kup.So not only i sanded the flat side, i also have to sand the sides to make it as round as i can. It is already sanded on that pic, but you can see it is still not perfectly round. ICONIC MODES: Figure features classic conversion between robot and ambulance modes in 15 steps. For kids and adults ages 8 and up Undocumented, and possibly unintended, the magazine of the time gun can come off, somewhat making it resemble the other blaster Hot Rod occasionally used in the film. Also, for weapons storage options in robot mode, the time gun can be holstered on his hips by plugging it into the mushroom peg hole on either thigh using the same connecting peg on the gun that stores it in vehicle mode. This item is currently scheduled for release, but is not yet available at mass retail. Cores, Deluxes, Megatron Matrix comparisons: Each Matrix here is different from each other, so you can't actually confuse them. Upper left is Hot Rod. Upper right is ER OP (less intense clear blue than Hot Rod). Lower left is AU OP (blue painted over smoke). Lower right is Netflix OP (smoke).

Junkion Scrapheap and Buzzworthy Bumblebee Ironhide both use the 86-24 number, the first time the same number has been used for different characters between the two lines. There’s Fanstoys Hoodlum, the unofficial Masterpiece redux with near-perfect robot and vehicle modes, achieved by having an impossibly complex transformation that takes half an hour, at best (my opinion on that one’s gone down since I got it). I find it dumb how he complains about plastic quality when the figure is a failed QC sample. Of course he cannot admit it but yeesh

This figure convinced me that I made the right choice in switching to a chug style for my movie figures. I would never have all of these in MP form and be as happy with them. These display so nicely and they're actually fun to take off the shelf, transform and play with. And they are a fraction of the cost. Hot Rod is the simply the best "Deluxe" Hastak has ever released...oh wait, he's listed as Voyager.
