About this deal

David didn't appear care what happened to others as long as he could achieve his own objectives. He was also quite delusional, as he thought that the shambling Royal Family could help him get support to rule London. David pompously expected people to do as he said and cared incredibly about his image, shown during the duel between Achilleus and Just John, he begins to make a speech and protests when the fight begins before he can even get started. He constantly lost his temper when things did not go his way, or if people assumed correct things about him that he simply didn't believe. He was also very petty, as he was bent on making life hell for Brooke for leaving him and his group at Lambeth Bridge. [4] Knife: Achilleus uses a knife on occasion, such as when his spear is unavailable or when he needs to gut animals. Greg and Liam Thorne are invited to Paul MacLaren's farm in Maidstone to wait out the outbreak. [3] Stupid premise, but good cast that sold it. This is not an Emmy award winning show, but to my surprise I did enjoy it. I will watch more, but expect this to be cancelled soon. Archie Bishop - A large boy and Matt's right hand man. His father used to be a priest and so he has been raised on religion, though he doesn't seem to be as convinced as Matt in there being an actual deity.

Rose- The Palace's head of medicine. She treats all wounds there and is considered a professional of her trade, by kid standards. DogNut looks over the Thames and plans to leave in search of Brooke. The night before going on his journey to the centre of London, DogNut has a bad dream about Leo's death. Josa - Leader of the Slough group, she has a husky voice, pointed face, clever eyes and she is missing her front teeth. She also has a scar on her top lip and a mangled ear. She was Tyler Keene's girlfriend and shortly after he died she gave birth to their son, who she named after him. In the climax of The End, Saint George's army is killed and burned, preventing the disease from spreading or reproducing, Small Sam's blood acts as a cure, ensuring the disease can have no new hosts and will eventually go extinct in London. [4] Symptoms and Other Affects Stages History ""I came down to earth with a bump. A bump so big the whole earth shook. Lay there for a long while, just dreaming. Not alone. Not then. Other angels had fallen from the stars with me. Some died--millions upon millions--never got to make friends with anyone. But enough of us lived."" — Wormwood describing the history of the disease; The Sacrifice'Marcoand Felix- Marco and Felix are DogNut's best friends and are constantly with him. Marco is kind to everyone and would be more popular if he didn't hang around with Felix, whereas Felix is constantly saying horrible things to people, this causes him and Marco to get into a lot of fights. Marco wears a World War II German helmet, and uses a spear, and Felix uses a sword. Jamie - A boy who was strangled in the cellar by Paul Channing and later eaten by adults. He is thirteen.

Consisting of many practising Christians, they are compared to the Cathedral Kids. They are the only group that doesn't later aid Ed. Their Ascot races team colour is blue. This is a list of characters from Charlie Higson's The Enemy series. Flubberguts - It seems like she has her guts growing outside her body, covered by a thin, almost transparent membrane. Nicola - Prime minister at the House of Parliament. Described as being pretty with red hair and green eyes. She respects David but doesn't like him and it is suggested that she has feelings for Ed. Meets her demise in The End, after David shoots her for rejecting him.As of The End, a vaccine for the disease has been developed by a group of children living in the Natural History Museum. Intelligence In the American publication of the series, the cutoff age for infection is raised to sixteen years old.

[3] Harry Ryan - Harry is one of Matt's Acolytes, and is good at drawing, but can't spell very well. He drew the banner for Matt's religion. It is not made clear if he survived and made it to St. Paul's or died at Lambeth Bridge. Day 4 - Jordan into town, second meeting, kids move into Victoria and Albert Museum and Westminster Abby. The church where the expedition crew is hiding burns down. Ollie rescues Lettis Slingsbury, and the crew and the Twisted Kids return from the expedition. Tyler Keene - Originally in charge of the group in a factory in the trading estate with his sadistic girlfriend Josa. He was a fat kid with curly hair and an arrogant attitude. "He was a vicious psychopath," and he was also a mean fighter. Well when anyone ever asks me what I do, I always just say I’m a writer. Pretty much everything I’ve ever done has always started with writing. So when I was in a band I was writing songs, I got into TV by being a writer, and over the years if I’ve ever had a clash between a performing job and a writing job I’ve always gone with the writing job. It’s what I enjoy doing most. Small Sam - A boy of nine, he is small for his age and enjoys fantasy. He is kidnapped early on in the first book and hopes to return to his sister and friends of the Holloway Crew. He is good friends with a boy his age known as The Kid. He uses a pin and later a sword as a weapon and wears armour. He is one of the few characters to have appeared in almost all the books of the series. He is considered the Lamb in Matt Palmer's religion. Brendan Eldridge - A boy from the Tower, he is exiled by Jordan for stealing food which he gave to a girl to impress her. He is well liked in the Tower, but seems largely viewed as a coward.

Ollie - A red haired boy, he is very intelligent and is described as a good shot with his sling shot. He is in charge of ranged fighters known as the Skirmishers. He is fifteen at the end of The Enemy, with his birthday the following day. The weather is sunny. DogNut's group leave by boat along the Thames, their boat sinks just next to Parliament and they meet Nicola's group at the Palace of Westminster. They encounter Carl of The Squatters and Ryan Aherne's group of hunters, who save them from the Gym Bunnies and give them better directions.

Well I really like writing for The Kid because he’s sort of half-nuts. I can have fun with language and references. Quite a lot of the characters in the books have syndromes but they’re not spelled out, so I have this idea that The Kid has this condition that he remembers every little thing people have said to him. He stores up all these phrases and lines of information in his head and then it all comes spewing out, even if he doesn’t necessarily understand it all. His brain is wired differently. He’s a lot of fun to write, and I can put in references to things I like such as Captain Beefheart songs. Kyle - Kyle is one of Ed's lieutenants in the guard section of the Tower and acts as his personal bodyguard, constantly following him about. He is described with a bit of a squared head and also being very tough and a good fighter. He has dyslexia and is heavily implied to be a sociopath. The good, nice characters are always a challenge to make interesting but it’s not something one should shirk away from. Charlie Higson started writing when he was ten years old. After university he was a singer and painter and decorator before he started writing for television. He went on to create and star in the hugely successful comedy series The Fast Show. He is the author of the bestselling Young Bond books and the incredibly successful horror series, The Enemy. Alicia - A girl who accidentally pours boiling water on her legs. Whitney goes to help her giving Paddy and the Young-Bloods a chance to get outside.
