Just.. with things that are pretty underwhelming and if the demo is any indication, you can get a dozen or more items like that with every side mission. Obviously, this is a nod to Link from Twilight Princess, and all three pieces of this set are relatively spread out across the deadly and dangerous Depths. Thankfully, outside of the easiest method which is using the Super Smash Bros Link Amiibo, there's an in-game method of obtaining the Twilight Set in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. I am baffled that Pokemon never took advantage of Amiibo and make Pokemon Amiibo cards like the Animal Crossing cards. This amiibo™ figure shows Link in a classic pose from the Legend of Zelda™: Twilight Princess game, where he joined forces with a mysterious creature named Midna to lift a shroud of twilight that had fallen across the land of Hyrule.
Thankfully, the Trousers of Twilight require a bit less work than the Tunic and a lot less work than the Cap of the Twilight. While most of the Depths in Tears of the Kingdom are connected to each other (most of the map mimics the general layout of the map on the surface), it's a lot easier to get to specific areas of the Depths by going topside and jumping down Chasms near the intended location. Additionally, for those unaware, the Lightroot locations in the Depths are 1:1 with the Shrine locations, so players can use their Surface maps to figure out where nearby Lightroots are. Simply walk forward towards the cliffside leading down into an area called the Ancient Underground Fortress (directly below the Akkala Citadel Ruins), and look down. Players should see a whole host of Bokoblins (of all different types), as well as a Boss Bokoblin, some Blue Lizalfos, and an Aerocuda or two flying overhead.
