About this deal

Fabulous view . Probably the worst pizza I have EVER eaten. Buying drinks was badly organised. Go for the view as long as you aren’t thirsty because you will have to wait for drinks. Definitely don’t... Read full review Nearby in Clifton Village you'll also find a popular terrace at Barrelhouse, located next to the University of Bristol Student Union and popular with students, this pub home to a snug seating area on the roof. a b "Lion bars lorry engulfed by fire on A2 near Bluewater". On Owd Bobs retirement the pub was extended into the adjoining cottages, now the restaurant. It is here we adopted the ghost of an old lady that died in the cottages, and many have seen objects fly off the window sills and the temperature suddenly change dramatically! After how many real ales this happens is a different question! Matt prides himself on his immaculately kept Cask Marque accredited cellar, and we have also been featured in the good beer guide for the past seven years! It was a beautiful hot sunny day when we got to this establishment and decided to sit on the terrace thankfully under a parasol. A peanut version of Lion, branded as the "Wild Peanut Lion Bar", was introduced in October 2021. [10] It was available exclusively in B&M for the remainder of 2021 before launching in other retailers in 2022. [11] Lion Cereal [ edit ] Lion CerealPizza was really good, fish and chips-just ok, but beef curry and Thai green curry just awful. Bland, unappealing, very disappointing. In a 2004 analysis by the Consumers' Association, researchers named it the worst and most unhealthy cereal in the survey. [13] It was found that the cereal contained 35.9 grams of sugar per 100 grams which was 18 times the recommended level of sugar with researchers saying that Nestle Lion Cereal contained as much sugar as the chocolate bar of the same name. [13] [14] It was also found that the cereal contained four times as much fat than recommended at 13.7 grams as well as 0.75g salt. [13] Another bar on a boat, this time with a tapas restaurant underneath! Watch the ferries go by while you sup your drink in the sunshine. Nestlé reduced the amount of transfat in Lion bars to meet a growing consumer trend for smaller portions and healthier eating but sales fell by 18% between 2004 and 2005. [4] In addition, total volumes declined from 30,000 tonnes to 18,000 tonnes between 2002 and 2007 and by around 50% over the span of 10 years. [4] [5] In 2007, Nestlé sold its factory in Dijon to Barry Callebaut with Nestlé saying it will outsource the production to the chocolate producer who can use the existing capacity and equipment to manufacture some of its own products. [6] [5] 2017–present [ edit ]

Lion was first launched by Yorkshire confectionery company Rowntree's in Fawdon, Newcastle in 1976. [2] The production of Lion bars was moved to a factory in Dijon, France when it was bought by Swiss company Nestlé in 1988. In 2016, researchers from the World Action on Salt and Health reported that Nestle's Lion cereal contained over two teaspoons of sugar per serving at 29 grams of sugar per 100 grams which in the survey placed the cereal only behind Frosties, Coco Pops and Crunchy Nut Cornflakes in terms of sugar. [15] Well done Ed & the rest of the team at the white lion my visit last Saturday afternoon was the highlight of a enjoyable weekend away in Bristol

We offer third of a pint glasses for those who wish to try different bitters but may be driving and have an extensive wine & whiskey menu, as well as a great choice of soft drinks & wines. As it happens the food only took about 20 minutes to arrive which when I used to work in hospitality was pretty standardAs soon as a table was vacated the staff were on it like a flash clearing empty plastic glasses & plates wiping down with a cloth and sanitiser ready for the next customers
