My collie has had itchy red skin and nothing seemed to help it. He has an auto immune condition and I tried using the steroid spray prescribed by the vet which helped a bit. After using the Anicura spray his itchy skin has almost completely disappeared. Our gentle Anicura Cat Gel is designed to soothe and restore dry, irritated and inflamed skin, rashes, scabs, cuts and grazes, small wounds and sores, hot spots and pet acne. With clean hands, pump some Gel onto your fingers and gently massage it into the affected area, or dab on if the skin is very sore.
For itchy and problem skin, we recommend using the Spray and Gel together. In this case, start by applying the Spray and briefly wait until it’s been absorbed by the skin. Follow up by applying the Gel on any red hot, sensitive, sore or damaged areas to further nourish and protect the skin. We recommend applying the Spray 3-4 times a day at first (although it will not do any harm if you feel you need to apply more frequently than this). When you start to see an improvement, you can reduce the frequency to 1-2 times a day. When the skin has returned to relative normalcy, you can continue using the Spray a few times a week to keep the skin topped up with moisture and nutrients.
