Positive thinking: Stop negative self-talk to reduce stress

My business, energy, time, skill, and reputation are my most important assets, it follows that I invest these assets with the right clients, prospects, colleagues, and friends. The realization that we would be leaving Italy required a mental adjustment. It was unexpected. But at no point did my spirits dip. I didn’t get sad about leaving this country that I love so much. Instead, I just opened all of my senses and awareness that much more, to soak up as much as I can before we leave. It has helped me be more fully present and grateful.

I face problems and challenges head-on. I have faced many problems before, what is another one? I am prepared and ready to take this on. I am warm and genuine. I like myself and what makes me, me. People accept me for what and who I am. Perfectionism. Keeping impossible standards and trying to be more perfect sets yourself up for failure. My choices are mine alone to make for myself. I cannot change the past but I am in control of my present and future.
