About this deal

Anyways, once you are happy you know how you want it to sit, hammer in these panel pins in the centre of the skirting, and fit them where they'll do the job you want - eg holding the skirting in to follow a line, keeping the skirting running straight, etc. You only want the minimum number of PPs to do this, perhaps 4 or 5 per length. You want them pretty much all the way through the skirting - their little points chust appearing. Due to the different display and lighting effects, the actual color of the item may be slightly different from the color displayed on the picture.

For the uninitiated, choosing the right nails for skirting board can seem a little daunting. The reality is that you may not even need nails at all and with a few minutes of planning you can ensure you have everything you need to install your new skirting boards as soon as they arrive. If you find that your walls are not particularly straight then you should use adhesive along with nails/screws.If you have masonry walls then the best option is usually going to be to use a mixture of adhesive such as Gripfill (we supply standard and solvent free Gripfill) and masonry screws or nails. You should find you'll learn how to judge this - a couple of firm (and straight) taps with the hammer should do. Easy Installation】There is no need for an electric drill to drill holes. First, put the nail into the sleeve, drive the nail into the wall, fix a nail according to the length of the skirting line of about half a meter, and then fix the skirting line to the nail.

Strong adhesives such as Gripfill are without a doubt the easiest way to attach your skirting to the wall but they can be troublesome with walls that are not even – which is a common problem even in modern homes. The use of nails or screws will help the skirting board to match the shape of the wall as there will be enough strength to flex the board in to position. This will give a better finish and will prevent the skirting from making the wall look more uneven. High-quality Nails】 The surface is galvanized, can effectively prevent nail corrosion and meet your long-term use needs. Hardware Nails are of hard material, very strong and sharp, and keep the shape and not bend easily when you use. Just recently had my upstairs floored and put the skirting on myself with oval nails, nailed into studs using stud finder. Ok job, bit wavy, i presume its just the walls as its new build. If you have a dry lined wall with masonry behind it then be sure to use screws that are long enough to penetrate the inner masonry wall – usually around 80mm screws will suffice. Right, remove the skirting, run a goodly bead of solvent-free along near the top (about 10mm down) and a ditto near the bottom (about 15mm up), and then some wobbly beads in between (depending on how tall your skirting is). Give Away Special Tools】This nail specific sleeve tool allows you to place the nail into the sleeve and directly tap it into the wall.
