I tried this because I figured “why not?” I have severe reflux, and I have for years though it’s gotten so much worse that I was worrying about esophageal cancer as a friend’s husband died of it a few years ago, and we shared a similar history with ibuprofen usage. I stopped taking ibuprofen daily over a year ago, but I was still having to combine Prilosec and nexium to not have my mouth literally filling with vomit hours after eating. Every night I battled reflux. Every day. My diet got worse and worse because I couldn’t stand the pain, and I was becoming constantly hungry (in an unhealthy way) or dealing with just this nagging “something” from my digestive tract. I have a history years ago of H. pylori, and that caused similar symptoms of extreme hunger. I figured I’d give this a try. I’ve credited probiotics with helping with gas and gurgling, so I’m familiar with them, but that effect had long passed.

I bought this product in replacement of using lansoprazole. I don’t have enough information to comment on its efficacy. However, I expect an expensive product like this to have leaflet with information on how best to use it. For example, it should specify whether to take on an empty stomach, or to take with food.
