Love Keen boots, the Manchesters are by far my favorite. Would love to have a pair of Cincinnati boots for my everyday job! I’m actually in the market for new boots. There was clearly something very different about the design, but wearing a size 13, they didn’t have one for me to try on the spot. Currently wearing redwings 405’s which have worked great for me. I’ve had them for about 16 months and in need of a resole but otherwise the boots are great. I’ll need a new pair while those get resoled/ to swap in and out of. I’ve had my eye on the San Jose’s and now the Cincinnati’s as well. Thanks for the review I’ll definitely be going with one of those 2 for my next pair. @bigbogle The only boots I have that are made with the injection molding process are the Logandales. They are very comfortable. The uppers are part leather and part synthetic. The midsole is a very resilient PU foam. These are medium duty boots which should last longer than the Manchesters in medium to heavy work. All the boots made in the Portland, OR facility are built with the direct attach process.

It’s also lighter than denser midsoles. While these boots don’t feel weightless, they are noticeably lighter than my other 6-inch boots. I do a ton of work on concrete and love my Irish setters. I had a pair of keen utility shoe but they didn’t hold up in my work environment. I’d love to try a pair of their wedge soled shoes to see how they hold up in comparison. No boot company has helped my feet feel better every day than KEEN Utility. Not Redwing, not Thorogood, not Wolverine, not Carolina, not Timberland Pro and certainly not any of the cheaper brands. KEEN Utility has allowed me to stay on my feet longer without severe foot and ankle pain. Now I must say I can’t wear every boot they make but there are quite a few. Would love to try a pair of keen boots after trying some of the other brands and still not finding the holy grail boot.
